Quality, value for money
Vastly improved mobile reception for my 4g mobile router. Much better than the stock ariel.Good price, value for money to improve connectivity. Improved speed and connectivity. Quality plug preinstalled

BOOM fast internet again!
I'm not sure how anyone can rate this product as low value - given its price it is amazing.Remember... it is not magic, if there is just no signal near you then this can't magically boost no signal even it it had 100x gain, 100 x 0 = 0.I bought this because I couldn't place my router in a decent position to get a good signal. My signal strength on the stock antennas of the TPLink Archer 1200 were around 25% with speed test results of 6MBps at best. I installed this onto one of the antenna inputs and mounted it outside the window and instantly the signal jumped to 75% and speed tests of around 20MBps.I'm not sure how waterproof this thing is, so I've coated interfaces in hot glue just to try and keep ingress of water out. So far so good.Little tip... check mastdata.com (UK) to find out where your local mast is based and then place the antenna as close to line of sight as you can get. If there are a lot of obstructions, you might actually find that the antenna works best somewhere it reflects the signal from another building, so play around with locations.Found this helpful? please let me know

Fair product. Short lead.
Used for gsm autodialler, reasonable signal enhancement, I recommend adding an extension coax. 5M does not give much scope

Poor quality
This antenna was unable to pickup a strong exterior signal and bring it indoors.Waste of money

Not very sturdy
Worked OK but knocked off by overhanging branch

Useful to stabilise signal.
I live in a marginal/fringe 4G area and have no option but to use 4G broadband. My 4G router is located in the loft and came with smaller whip aerials. While there was always signal it was never good. With these aerials there was a small improvement in signal and far better signal stability. In real terms, I had between 1 and 3 bars before and now I have a consistent 3 bars and better speed. The brackets make mounting to rafters really easy and moving the aerials (to find best signal) a breeze. The long 5M flyleads make positioning the two aerials easy - I found I had to juggle the position of the aerials to get best compromise between upload and download speeds.I am going to fit an outdoor LTE aerial but, personally, would not want to use this kit outside - this based on 30+ years of being a radio amateur and knowing how corrosion affects RF (especially at these frequencies). I am quite sure water would wick up the coax. Further, the construction has different metals in direct contact so corrosion is inevitable in any case.If you have a moderate signal on your 4G router and a functional connection already that you only want to improve without putting up external aerials then give these a try.If you have a very flaky signal... maybe not the product for you but then they only cost a tenner and might or might not work for you.If you have little or intermittent signal I would save yourself time and money and put up a proper LTE aerial.

Doubtful if this is any use for WIFI signal boosting.
I bought this to ) extend our WIFI range and 2) to get a better signal by putting it outside, but I’m afraid it failed on both counts. The system we were trying to boost was 2.4GHz and 5GHz.We ended up getting a plug in wireless booster (TP link) and that did the range extension in the end. The signal to our wireless modem is still the same; poor. If the aerial has failed on both counts, I’m not entirely sure what it’s good for. Certainly when it comes to WIFI usage, I would avoid this product.

Neat antenna that works well
This antenna is tuned for 4g+ (LTE) UK bands. Some poor reviews here but I'm not sure if people are using it correctly. This isn't to improve WiFi in the home. WiFi is transmitted internally from your router. This is for external 4g signal improvement from your connected tower/cell, using mimo (multiple in/multiple out)Which means dual channel which means you need 2 of these antennas connected to the female sma connectors on your router. It is also essential to switch to external antennas in your router setup page, otherwise you will still be using the internal antennas in your router defeating the object. They need to be mounted externally on the side facing your nerwork cell/tower. Check and note the cellid:(cell your connected to) on your router info page then use cellmapper.com to find where your cell is. Mount antennas 30 to 90cm apart.one antenna in vertical orientation and the other in horizontal. This allows router to guage/recognise and use dual signal from the cell over horizontal and vertical signal polarizations.(signals are reflected and scattered off obstructions at all angles from cell/tower to router)The cable length is 3 metres so you will need to try and get your router close to the window or exit where you run the cables out. Your location, distance and obstructions to tower/cell will determine your gain results as well as any network traffic and throttling. In my situation signal has gone from -13 dbi to +14dbi with average download mb's now between 30 and 70. Up from 20-40mb's with internal antenna. Your network will still get busy and there will still be throttling and management but this setup will help alot.
