Those are good rods, for what we need to do with them, easy to use, weld good, value for money, would get again

Husband is a farmer and these are great value for welding gates

I have no idea as to why I need to review a welding rod, the quality of the weld relies mainly on the operative and the equipment used, they are named brand, I have never heard of counterfeit welding rods so they are good

These spatter quite a lot, but i find if you circle them in small circles as you move along, they do a really good weld, main thing is though, at this price, they are fantastic. The weld is smooth when using a 3.2mm electrod in 6 - 10mm mild steel with a small angled lead on for the weld and running at 125 - 130 amps. The only reason a gave 4 stars though is because other than the spatter, they occasionally (I'd say 1 in every 10) seems to be a bit of a bad one and doesn't spark easy. As for sparking them, they are easy, if you have trouble 're sparking a used one, just rub the tip of the electrode on a concrete floor once or a piece of sand paper and it should spark right back up.
