Easy to clean
This is a really good cutting board for cooks who like sharp knives. Its made of material that doesn’t dull knives but, unlike expensive good wood cutting boards, its a breeze to clean and maintain, it wipes clean under hot water easily. It’s only drawback is small size, it’s good for one or two items but isn’t large enough for a big piece of meat or many vegetables.

The $65 dollar price is too much
It's the size I wanted, a handy, light weight, easy to wash board for small jobs - a board that will minimize wear on knives. A review here mentioned small white particles that showed up under a microscope, raising his concern that those might transfer into food. At 200X magnification, the board does have a consistent tiny "cratered" texture, and there is a sparse smattering of tiny lighter colored areas in maybe 5% of those "craters", but I'd be more concerned about the predominantly black area, if at all. If you sharpen a knife yourself, you may leave microscopic metal fragments on it that might get into food. A wooden cutting board will no doubt have microscopic wood chips. A plastic board will no doubt have microscopic plastic fragments. This black cutting board is from Japan, the land of knives and cutting boards and sushi chefs. Heck, you have to trust somebody, sometime! But $65 bucks is too much when other soft boards are available for much less. Japan has a lot of overhead in taxes and all. I use this board regularly for quick cuts and chops, the finger hole is a nice touch, and it grips the granite counter top solidly. I have yet to notice any slice marks or discoloration, and it seems to wash and rinse cleanly, smooth to the touch. The instructions are in Japanese, so good luck with your cell phone apps. I have not checked it for radioactivity.

Great quality. Nice material.
Very nice quality. Easy to cut on and glad we don’t have to think about micro plastics either this one.

Keeps my knives sharp
Nice small cutting board that keeps my knives sharp. This Parker Asahi, the Hasewaga FRK series and Hi-Soft cutting boards are soft, so your knives won't get dull. The main disadvantages are that the knives don't slide on it as easily, and they develop small grooves. I would rather have small grooves in my boards than dull knives. Something has to give: either the board or the knife.Wood and most plastic boards are medium hardness.Stay away from Teak wood (it contains sand), bamboo, glass, marble, and ceramic cutting boards. They are knife edge killers.

Great for my knives
This works well and is very kind to my Japanese hand made knives.

I recommend this!
I have been using this cut board for a week now. My impression is easy to cut since the knife doesn’t bounce after cutting because it is made of rubber. Also it is easy to clean up, quick to dry after wash, so easy to maintain. I can tell the board is made of high quality rubber, and it will last long. This is relatively small, so it is more suitable for a single life than family.

Keep your kitchen knives sharp…if you can
The product is as described. Soft, self-healing surface does not dull knives. However, and it's a small however, small is how I'd describe it. I failed to read the description well enough to realize it's half the size of a standard cutting board, so large things like those big white onions, or any winter squash, are out of the question. It's also very expensive for what you get. I'd order a larger one, if I had it to order again.
