Max Factor Skin Luminizer Foundation, 80 Bronze

I bought this make up when my usual Max Factor was sold out (Colour Adapt) and I needed it for a holiday. I was a little worried that it may be more difficult to apply because the colour adapt is more like a mousse than a standard foundation but I was very pleasantly surprised.It's very easy to apply, doesn't leave any streaks or irregular shading/colouring. It covers extremely well and leaves my skin looking flawless with a hint of dewy luminescence.I've read other reviews that state this contains glitter but it doesn't, it's not a glittery/shimmery shine that it gives it's more of a dewy, fresh look. It stays on all day without needing to top up, I wore it on a weekend city break at a concert on the first day where it stayed perfect despite the heat, lights and humidity and all day and night on the second day without having to top up - my make-up still looked flawless!It is quite light, it's not an 'obvious' thick foundation however if I do want a thicker coverage then it also applies very well over my colour-adapt foundation, sometimes I'll just apply a little over the top to cheeks and forehead as a highlighter.I'm very impressed with this foundation and will be purchasing regularly now alongside the MaxFactor Colour- Adapt foundation.

Love this foundation. Leaves skin smooth and flawless when used wit a pressed powder. The make up is light weight on the skin and not at all greasy. It is thicker than some liquid foundations but gives a lovely even coverage. The light ivory is suitable for fairer skin colours (i am natural blonde with no tan/pale skin). The foundation is excellent at covering dark eye circles too - huge bonus! I believe that max factor have stopped making this now which is very very disappointing so i have stocked up with quite a few to hopefully last me until i can find one i like as much.

Thicker than expected , but still glides on perfectly and looks very natural and really does make you glow! this is perfect for fake tan aswell as its not orangey its more olive (I got bronzed)

I can’t find this in my local boots store any more I’m not sure if Maxfactor have stopped making this one or not or boots just stopped selling it. So I thought I’d try on here. I’m So glad I found it. It is my favourite foundation and a great colour match to my skin tone. And lasts for ages. 1 bottle probably lasts me around 6 months, you don’t need to use a lot at all, but maybe that’s because I don’t cake my makeup on. It’s also cheaper on here than I used to buy in boots. Can’t complain at all. Will be coming back to buy more. Thankyou.

First things first, no, it doesn't illuminate or leave a dewy glow to the skin, which was the primary reason I got it. The coverage it gives is nice though. The only thing I don't like is it feels heavy and tacky even hours after application. The pump is quite good, you get a lot of control over how much product you want dispensed.All in all, it's a good foundation, but doesn't do what it claims to, at least for me. I'd rate it 3.5.

I love this. Just bought it for the first time to replace a discontinued product and fine it feels great on the skin. I am in my mid sixties but wanted to avoid the slapped on caked look that some foundations can have on older skin. This gives just enough cover over pores and thread veins (with a touch of concealer) and gives a lovely fresh, healthy look. Surprised and delighted with the result.

Updated my review 27/03/2021I have ordered this foundation five times from Amazon and have never had any problems, I love the colour and the coverage BUT the order I received today is completely fake. I spotted it a mile off when I first opened the packaging. The foundation is a completely different colour to what it should be and after looking at the label, it appears to have a different address on the back too. Please do not be scammed by this third party seller! This is not Max Factor!
