Best for limited access
Used this to connect Cellular home phone receiver with only one RJ11 output to existing house phone network and phone. Male pigtail was necessary due to limited access on cellular receiver. Worked as expected.

Not reliable
I got this to plug in my telephone AND internet modem, because I only have 1 access line. It works until I receive a phone call, then it disconnects the internet modem. I ended up unplugging my land line altogether, because it was a nuisance.
