Works well.
I bought this to add to a raspberry PI 4b setup. It came with three flexible tapes to allow connection to different devices. The raspberry PI mounts easily to the back of the display and the short flexible tape connects them. I used this setup with a TV hat and an instance of KODI running on the pi. I had to create a 3D box for the setup to keep everying safe, which took a bit of time but was well worth the effort.I found the display worked well and the touch screen effective in normal use.One issue with running LibreELECT with KODI is that it can only handle one screen at a time, so plugging the secondry display on the PI into my TV resulted in the WaveShare display turning off and the TV display turning on, which makes the touch interface useless in that use case. It must be stressed this is not a problem with the display but rather my setup using LibreELECT.Overall I award this waveshare display 5 stars.

Great screen for the Raspberry Pi4
I'm new to Raspberry pi and purchased a 4b last week.I decided a screen would be a nice addition for the projects I have in mind. This is a great little screen. I cant fault it. It looks great and was easy to install.I like that it just needs one ribbon cable connected to the Pi and it works. Super easy.Mine came with 3 different length ribbon cables and some stand offs.It has 2 protective layers of plastic to peel off the screen. At first I peeled off just one layer and thought the touch wasn't working but when I realised and took off the second layer it worked great.

No cable supplied
I’d like to have connected this to a Pi but it didn’t come with a cable so I can’t. Pointless purchase
