works with the inforcar app
Having downloaded the inforcar app, and using it on another obd2 blue tooth scanner, which required the app to be purchased to unlock other features, by purchasing the infocar obd2 scanner no app purchase would appear to be needed. Apart from the odd loss of blue tooth connection, both app and scanner, returns data, however in fairness to the pp & scanner the car is 2004 Toyota Yaris with an intermittent fault. One of the problems with early implementation of the iso 9414-2 obd2 standards is that not all information is provided by the vehicle manufactures, more modern vehicles would provide more data.
