This does exactly what its supposed to do. It lets you gauge the pH and chlorinity levels of your hot tub or swimming pool.It's a simple case of filling the coloured plastic jug up with the pool water and then putting in one pre-supplied tablet into each of the separate compartments, shake for 30 seconds and then compare the colour of your water with the colour of the pH or chlorinity range on the sides. It couldn't be simpler.The only gripe I had is that it doesn't give you an indication of the ideal levels in your pool. I had to do a Google search for that but then I supposen it didn't advertise that it was going to let you know the safe levels, just what the levels were. Either way it was easy to find through a quick search.There are 20 of each tablet so you can test each value 20 times and the replacement packs are not prohibitly expensive to deter you from testing again.It's a handy pack which I recommend anyone with a pool or hot tub gets.

The media could not be loaded. I traditionally used test strips with various success, so was looking for a different way to check the PH and chlorine levels in the hot tub. This works incredibly well, and makes it easy to distinguish the levels based on the gauge. It's easy to use and the replacement tablets are relatively inexpensive. As with other reviews, what's missing is any instructions stating what the ideal levels are I.e. for a pool / hot tub which slightly let's the product down - although this can be easily found online.

I have used this against a predictable concentration and it gives accurate chlorine concentrations in ppm / mg/l. This is an easy-to-use tool.

I bought this thinking that it made sense to upgrade to a professional testing kit now my pool is established. Though as I have said in the title im not sure its worth it. The strips are much easier to read, theres no set up with the strips or fiddling around with adding tablets. On the whole fairly underwhelmed by this product

I have tried many of the dipstick tests with moderate success, but this tablet based colour test kit is the best, most accurate. It may take a few moments longer but it is worth it, the results are much more accurate. My Pool quy swears by this type and poured scorn on the test strips, I have had to admit he was right. Great product great price compared to the professional ones, but uses the same reagents to tell us in our tubs the two key things, PH and Amount of chlorine or Bromine. Brilliant.

Easy to use giving a clear reading of chlorine ppm and ph level, making it easy to adjust to keep the water safe and clear all season.

Bought this kit for testing my swimming pool water and found it to be easy to use and simple but clear to read. Much easier to define the colour compared to the paper strips which were very vague in their readings.Pleased with my purchase
