done the job great
i needed to pull some flexible conduit already containing my cables under a large 8M X 8M decking area with only limited access and i did not want to lift boards as the screws were all plugged and invisible i was having a nightmare with the nylon type and pvc trunking lids taped together so i opted to try this fish tape which did the job great on my second attempt, i was able to work the fish tape all the way round the feet and right to an access hole i had drilled the other side so i am really delighted with risking this product, it is on an easy roll up reel which you hold with one hand and simply turn with your other hand and it will wind nicely back up, the locking button is handy if you get slightly snagged where you can add that little more controlled pulling power.it was very good value for money and got the job done quickly and easily so i would recommend it,obviously you probably already know this but i wanted to just add a word of warning, never use this in conduit or trunking etc where live cables maybe present or where the fish tape could end up in a live area of a fuse board or panel ect as the tape is made from steel and if an unsuspecting live buzz bar or damaged cable is in the same conduit run you could potentially have a very nasty electrical accident and injury or worse, so please stay safe if you are using this near existing cable routes and runs

It does the job
I normally use a steel tape measure to fish cable under floorboards but on this occasion I needed something longer and thinner. As it is only for one job I didn't want to pay much. This did the trick. It's cheap and cheerful (that's being polite) but it worked. It tends to curl up, and it's not easy to get it in/out of the roll. If you're going to be using one regularly then buy a better quality product. Does anyone want mine? I've finished with it now.

Being a electrician it can be tricky to get cables through gaps. Not something I will id everyday but useful to have one day.
