Love this pancake mix and this is the best American pancake mix

I have lost count how many times I've ordered this from Amazon. There is no other recipe or ready-made ingredients better than this. These pancakes are so easy to make and turn out and taste exactly as they should. The instructions on the box are easy to follow, but I have tweaked the ingredients just a little by adding one extra egg. Try it! You will absolutely love them!

Whilst some reviewers have complained that this mix requires egg, oil & milk added – the oil is not completely necessary and the pancakes are extremely tasty and fluffy and no different to those of American diners, especially when you add the AJ syrup. There is also a version of AJ that only requires adding milk. A lot of reviewers have also seen this mix as glorified flour and raising agent - personally, I've tried making pancakes from scratch and my end-product is very different from this, the consistency is a lot easier to get right, so no complaints.Take care when opening though as the powder is loose within the box and there is no plastic bag to hold it. Otherwise great value for money – can make 70+ pancakes easily. Although these pancakes cook great, I found them a little salty, I know Americans are fans of salt and sweet together but it was a little too much salt for my British palate. Even with the syrup it was just too much salt.

This is a good product, great quality and delivery wasn’t too bad

Difficult to get this product as it sells out quickly in the UK. Very expensive too but I miss the light fluffy breakfast pancakes so common in North America. Pair with Canadian maple syrup and crispy streaky bacon - some fruit and berries too - for a great brunch.

I've always eaten Aunt Jemima products in the States, the problem is they cost a fortune over here. The advantage over other mixes is that Aunt Jemimas is not sweet, the waffle is baked without sugar in the mix, and if you want sweetness then you pour it on or sprinkle it. That is how it should be, and I am delighted.I ordered the 6 box, and now have enough to last until Christmas, and at a decent price. Sure beats clouds of flour dust billowing out of my cabin luggage at Heathrow on the return trip.

This mix makes great pancakes - fluffy and light. (I haven't made waffles so can't comment on those). These are more like the traditional American pancakes i.e. thicker than crepe like pancakes.You do have to add ingredients (egg, milk) but I haven't tried any other "ready made" mix that tastes so good so I don't mind.My only issue with this box is that the powder is held just within the box, there is no inner wrapping so the box can get a little messy.Very tasty !
