Amazing high technology.
Works great on my 1999 Subaru Outback. Fit is by several thousands of an inch. Should be a legal requirement on all U.S. sold vehicles that have one of the most common backup light bulbs ever, the type 1156. Installation was a snap and the finished results are exactly what one could hope for. Could not be happier with the outcome.

Bad product. Don't buy it.
Bad product. Looked like a good one, LED and all. Went to install it to test it out. Worked OK. Alarm not very loud. LED not as bright as 1156 bulb it replaced. Tried to take it back out to grease the contacts for long term installation and the LED/alarm portion popped out of the bulb base. It is only friction fit and the ground (neg) wire is not soldered to bulb base, but held in place by friction. Only way to pull bulb assembly out would be to pry it out with needle nosed pliers. Pressed the assembly back together rather than destroy it. It will be only a matter of time before the vehicle vibration causes the LED/alarm assembly to fall out of bulb base. Don't buy it.

Well it beeps, not that bright though.
Used a high pitched buzzer within the bulb unit itself that gives a beep beep beep with about a half second delay to each beep.I bought two because I felt it’d be equal. Unfortunately if you buy two, it’s impossible for it to be synced. One of my bulbs are faster than the other causing a changing overlap beeping sound from the both, sometimes they’d match up for five seconds, then they’d be like a siren, then it’d slowly match up again.Gonna contact the manufacturer about it, but so far so good, I just wish these were higher quality LEDS, they’re like incandescent level of brightness.

Works, dim light and light sound, hoping for more.
Works, dim light and light sound, hoping for more. Light is very dim and sound is very light, I was hoping for a much stronger light and louder sound. The light does not illuminate for backing up, and you have to be within 5 feet to hear the beep sound.
