Well made glove. Comfortable, and they seem to keep your hands nice and warm (have had limited very cold weather). Love the low profile style, no cuff getting in the way. Carhartt merchandise seems to run a bit large, so I opted for the large size, and they fit perfect, maybe the best fitting glove I've ever had. Well worth the price, which was reasonable.

I gave these a size-runs-small - but let me explain.By the sizing guide at Carhartt.com, my palm measures about 8” to 8-1/4” in circumference - on the margins of a small to medium. My fingers are fairly slender and long at 7-1/2” from where my hand (palm side) bends at the wrist to the tip of my longest finger.I bought the large size because I generally wear large gloves due to the finger length, and let’s just say that if OJ had been wearing these, it would have been an instant conviction.So, with the measurements above, these gloves in large are a comfortable but snug fit around the hand, and the finger length is dead-on across my thumbs and all eight fingers.I’d normally prefer an extra 1/8 to 1/4” in finger length for ski gloves, but as work gloves for the cold, the snugger fitment is probably best in most circumstances.Finally - the photos suggest there the black are tri-color. They’re actually just black - different fabrics but all black.Overall - great gloves, just size-up accordingly.

First, let me say that I did not keep these gloves as I had purchased them on the try before you buy plan. I would have kept them though if I had not kept the other pair of Carhartt's that were just a bit thicker and bit warmer. These gloves fit as expected. Not too tight or too loose.Material used seems like it would be durable even though it is a synthetic material. The gloves feel plenty warm although I was unable to test them in really cold weather, as it only in the twenties when I tested them. If not for the other pair that I also tried, I would have definitely kept these gloves, they were a great price and very comfortable.

They fit me the best out of all my gloves. They do knock down the wind, but you will still find your finger tips getting uncomfortably cold in temps lower than 25F. A thin glove liner may help. I recommend them for casual outdoor use when temps are around the freezing mark.
