The truth
Did a lot of research and hoping for good results. To soon to tell. Slight order not overbearing. Nice consistency, but know that it will have a sand like substance at the bottom. I this would be the cheer, so shake it up well.

Greasy hair
This product made my hair super greasy and I hardly used any product at all. It was also really hard to get out of my hair too.I didn’t find it did anything to my hair to help it grow or reap the benefits that it states.Waste of money in my opinion and I ended up throwing it out.

First Time Trying Chebe, Not Sure It's Worth It
I'd been hearing about the benefits of chebe oil for a while so, when i saw this, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to try it. Upon receiving it, I was surprised at the size of the bottle - really, you get quite a lot of oil for the price. The contents - lots of oil, but also lots of herbs and "stuff" that had settled at the bottom. It took a while for me to get up the nerve to try it - my hair can be delicate, so I didn't want to do any damage. I decide to spot-test it first, on a small section of hair at the back of my head (which is where my strongest/most resilient hair "lives"). After washing/conditioning, I applied it - I use the LCO method, so it was used as a sealant after my serum and leave-in - and braided the section to keep it separate from the rest of my hair (and to be able to observe how it reacted).Adding the oil to my hair didn't seem to do much, positive or negative; so I decided to try it on my whole head the next time I did my full "beauty day". When that day came, I did my usual wash/con, then did my LCO method over my whole head, putting my hair into twists to dry. Once my hair was dry (DAYS later; my hair loves to hold onto water!), I took the twists out and found that my hair was.... okay. Not soft, bouncy and full of life, but not frizzy/dried-out, either.I've used the product three times since receiving it; but I can't say that I see much difference in my hair, good or bad. It's also not the best "sealing" oil, so I don't really see myself making this a regular in my arsenal - except, perhaps, for a hot oil treatment every now and then (which I did try once - that seemed to work well, leaving my hair soft and manageable). All in all, I'd say it's about a 3.5 star product.

Never tried Chebe but this product excites me
Update it's been 10 days of applying everyday. I have a 6 week braid in and it was so easy to take down, my braids were juicy and detangling was out the window!!!!I've heard about chebe but due to my natural hair journey it's not for me because I have mild scalp psoriasis. I didn't want to risk it getting onto my scalp because I primarily wear French braids and chebe can be an irritating and potentially cause fall out. So this cannot be used on your scalp, only on the shaft, I apply this to the tails of my braids. This product is a milky white color because of the ostrich oil, similar to emu. Because of the ostrich oil, the smell can be off putting to some, but it quickly disappears and can be easily infused with your regular hair oil or blend when sealing your LOC/LCO, this is the way I use it.The bottle is BIG and it's glass, the cap got stripped when I opened it, but it doesn't leak when closed. There is a wide spout on the mouth but it came off due to how I opened it. Doesn't matter because the medium consistency is easy to pour in your hand without spillsIt's only been two days but I've seen a significant difference. The ends of my braids are very soft, shiny and moisturized. They lost that rough feeling you get from old braid ins. The moisture lasts all day and minimized the amount of products needed for my LCO.The ingredients are naturalista approved. The box is from Chad and has its language/flag printed on it.For the size, purpose and significantly noticeable results, this can definitely be a staple. This means a lot to me because I cannot say that about a lot of products. Excited to try products from this brand.

Magic in a bottle
So, this was my first time trying Chebe powder and Karkar oil. I am in desperate need of a healing remedy to restore my very dry hair and scalp. Not only is my hair dry, but it barely grows. I read that Chebe powder is excellent for promoting hair growth while restoring nourishment back to the hair follicles. I was ready to test that theory, so I decided to try it.Once the bottle arrived, I was pleased with how much product I was getting. The bottle is 8.45 fluid ounces. The contents also looked interesting. Not to sound funny, but it did remind me of salad dressing at first. There were a lot of solid particle ingredients settling at the bottom of the bottle. I discovered that Chebe powder is made up of Chebe seeds, cherry, seeds, local tree resin, cloves, stones, acacia gum, coconut oil, and more, so these ingredients appear to be present in the oil from what I can see. The oil had an unfamiliar herbal scent to it. I'll tell you that it wasn't the most favorable scent, but once it was in my hair, it was hard to smell it afterward. The first few days I used it, I lightly applied the oil over my entire head of hair. It was pretty impressive how soft it made my hair with such a light application. I have not felt my hair this soft in quite some time. I proceeded to bump it up a bit and coat my entire hair and scalp in it for two days. The result was amazing! My hair feels so incredibly healthy. It looks better, it feels better, and I believe it is overall better. As far as promoting hair growth is concerned, it's too early to tell just yet.I'm glad I gave this oil a chance. I feel like my hair has a fighting chance now to grow and be healthy.
