fine, no noticeable difference personlly
always worth trying a supplement, but this one didn't do anything for me personally. Plenty of pills come in the bottle, they go down okay without any crazy tastes or anything, so overall I'd still recommend giving it a try.

Relaxing BUT Proceed with Caution
I've been battling a lot of stress and have difficulty relaxing and sleeping, so when I saw Univera's ANTI-STRESS supplement, I had to try it. I'm already familiar with most of the ingredients and I've used them before to take off the edge or to help me sleep. This contains Ashwagandha Extract (150mg), GABA (140mg), L-Theanine (100mg), and Valerian Root (50mg) -- all ingredients with which I know and have found to be effective prior to this. New to me is the Gotu Kola (100mg) so I did some research and found that it can lower blood sugar levels (which is important to know if you've got diabetes), it may raise cholesterol levels, and can lead to liver problems. HOWEVER, Gotu Kola has been used in ancient Chinese medicine for many years and there are claims that benefits include improved cognitive function (some studies show it may help stave off Alzheimer's), better circulation and decreased swelling, a reduction in anxiety, stress, and depression, and it can work to heal wounds and scars and ease joint pain. The other ingredient with which I was unfamiliar is ACTIValoe Aloe Vera Gel Matrix (5mg); some armchair research taught me that this seems to lower blood sugar levels (again, important for diabetics to know), and it may help lower cholesterol, but I haven't yet unearthed anything about stress-reduction to understand why it's in the capsules.The benefits of this supplement outweigh the risks for me, especially if I'm not taking them every single day. There are 60 capsules in the bottle and it recommends taking one capsule TWICE daily with meals. (I've taken these with and without meals and haven't had any stomach issues or nausea.)True to its name, this formula helps me relax! This is incredible, as it's rare to find an all-in-one combination that reduces my stress. I haven't been taking these twice a day OR even daily, though, as I'm already watching my cholesterol intake and I worry about my blood sugar levels.There's not much information noted on the bottle, so other than the aforementioned ingredients, I have some concerns about exactly where everything comes from that goes into the formula. Because I take a lot of supplements and natural remedies, I'm used to labels and companies that are eager to note the reasons why their product is top-notch; the lack of that on this product is disconcerting. So while I can say that this supplement does work for me and does exactly what it claims to do, it loses a star for not being absolutely transparent.

Calm and Reduced Stress During the 'Day'
I really really like this combination and that is why I got this. I take all of these except the valerian root ( taken many times in the past) and I take WAY more and especially the ones for helping me with sleep. But there is only so much you can get in one cap and with the smaller amounts of these ingredients, that's why I think this may be ideal to use during the day. So lets run down the ingredients very briefly.The GABA attaches to a protein in your brain known as a GABA receptor and the result is/may be a calmer brain activity situation. The L-theanine interesting boost/may you own bodies production of GABA and help/may with dopamine and serotonin. I wake up around 1 a.m. with stress and anxiety and take these two and go back to sleep after about 20 minutes. But I take way more than what is in this cap.Ashwaghanda is arguably the oldest supplement in the world with turmeric at a close second. And with it being around so long it has been credited/may for curing/may about anything and everything. I find it helps me with sleep. Once again I take way more with my fingers crossed it may be helping with any health issue that it can.The Gotu Kola is a fantastic ingredient that really helps/may with skin and blood circulation and stress. Combined with vitamin k-2 (mk4 and 7) and French maritime bark(pycnogenol) it has many surprising studies that indicate it may be the only thing known that can actually/may remove arterial plaque build up in the veins. So I take this for spider veins and healthier endothelial linings of my blood vessels which benefits/may my heart. I take these in the mornings and once again I take way more.The Valerian Root is a supplement many people claim helps them with sleep. I never noticed anything but if you are sensitive to it even this small amount could make you drowsy during the day. I personally do not think this is enough to do that but might want to keep that in mind.And finally the Aloe Vera. I use this topically for skin. Taking it orally can/may really clean your stomach out as well as your intestines resulting in some good bathroom visits. With this small amount it can/may help if you ate something greasy or constipated but I highly doubt it will cause anything major like the higher dosages can. There are some reports it helps/may with depression and stress but I never noticed that.Now I stated that I take way more of these but that's 5 days a week and I cycle off of them some weeks. With the GABA and L theanine I use that on a as needed basis. With this supplement I find this wonderful to keep with you during the day and if it gets stressful or anxiety hits you've got a great combination to safely help/may calm things down. When I take these I do not really feel anything. I don't feel all stressed and take these and then 10 minutes later say " Oh Wow ! It's Gone ! " It's real subtle. Now I do at night with the Gaba and L-theanine notice that I stop thinking so much with worry and can go back to sleep.Now everybody's body make up and metabolism is different and with that said you may or may not respond as much as you desire with this. I find it hard pressed with all these ingredients that at least one if not two of these ingredients helps in some way. And that's why I find this combination so awesome. And all these ingredients do way more than just help/may with calming the mind. So for example if one like valerian root does not help you with stress well it's an antioxidant that kills/may bad things in your body as well as being/may neuroprotective. My only compliant with this supplement is I wish it was third party tested ( it could be and they have not disclosed it at the time of this review) and that's the reason for four stars rather than 5. These are easy to take and I had no bad sides with these. Good Luck and I hope this was helpful.

Light calming effect
I like that this is made by an established company. According to their website, they also do 3rd party testing, which always makes me feel better about trying a new supplement.My experience was that these have a nice light calming effect. It's not enough to knock me out and make me really drowsy, but enough that they help take the edge off any lingering stress.I will use these mostly for winding down after work in the evenings. Even though they didn't seem to impact my energy levels because the valerian, GABA, and L-theanine are low dose, I have enough trouble getting through the work day that I will probably use these for times I feel ok about turning off my brain. The effects were subtle for me, but I would still recommend experimenting in the evenings or on the weekends f to see how your body reacts just to be safe.
