Authentic Egoiste bottle
Got an authentic bottle (sold and despatched by Amazon UK) so pretty much what I expected.This is the original scent (not the vintage; I mean it’s not the Platinum Egoiste which is an entirely different scent altogether).Quite long lasting with spicy tones over a dirty rose, wood (mostly synthetic sandalwood) and some fresher cities notes (tangerine) in the top. Great winter/cold weather scent that could be good in cooler summer nights as well.

I have been using this perfume for over 20 years now. It is distinctive and sophisticated. Impossible to get in perfume shops in this country, but fortunately available on Amazon!

Beware of Stalking Women
When this fragrance first came out I would turn tail and follow a man down the road if he was wearing it. Then it disappeared and was replaced with the Platinum version and my addiction disappeared. Probably just as well but I mourned the loss of what is, for me, the sexiest male smell ever. But here it is again and it smells just the same. Fortunately for the male race I now live in an area where men are few and far between so I bought a bottle anyway. A girl can dream, yes?

This is the best smelling Eau de Toilet you can get although it is getting harder to find I have jus got the 100 ml and will be getting another few I would advise any guy or girl to get this now before it is lost for ever 10 out of 10

I have to fight girls off.
It's amazing. I'm approaching my 59th year and one splash of this and I have to fight girls off half my age. I have even taken to carrying around a large club as protection.Actually (and sadly) this is not true. I have splashed this on liberally for almost two years and none of the above has ever happened. BUT, on more than one occasions someone has said 'you smell nice'......Makes it all worthwhile.

Look for vintage version !
Great as long as you`ll get vintage version.The new one is much weaker in projection and sillage.
