Earthborn Elements Malic Acid, 200 Capsules, Pure & Undiluted, No Additives

I've used another brand of malic acid for years. It's helpful for fibromyalgia and other muscle pain. This brand does not give me the results that the other brand gives. I'm dubious that it's actually malic acid, or that it contains the dose listed. I'm baffled by the reference to "alpha hydroxy acid" in the description. Alpha hydroxy acid is a topical treatment for skin. It should not be contained in a product called "malic acid" or indicate that it's related to malic acid in way. I used one-half of one of the two jars of this product, but I won't be able to use the rest. I won't reorder.

This was my first time ever taking Malic acid. I chose Earthborn because of strength and purity. My goal is to detoxify prior to gallbladder surgery and in the future. I have regular colonics but, I felt I needed to cleanse from the top down. The Malic acid did exactly that. There is no harsh tummy gripe, unless you take too many. (I took 3 at once) Just have an ice cold drink if you do and don’t do it again. These pills are simply effective within 45 minutes to an hour.In my gallbladder cleanse. I will admit I used other items as well. Apple Pectin, Triple Lecithin, Mag 07 and Malic acid with full apple/apple juice diet. Which relieved a lot of pain, but because of my years of suffering undiagnosed I’ve opted to have my gallbladder removed. It’s functionality is too low.Earthborn’s Malic acid, I noticed my skin changing to smooth and clear. Since my initial cleanse, I’m taking every other day because they are so effective. Response time has slowed somewhat closer to an hour.These are CLEANSING pills NOT laxatives. Totally different results and feeling.

I've been taking malic acid for years to help with liver and gall bladder/digestive functions. These are the same does as the ones I took previously, but the second I swallow the pill, it's immediate heart burn and acid reflux. So bad some times that I gag. I don't know what the difference is, but I doubt I will buy these again.

Apparently I can't live without these now. I ran out a couple months ago and didn't reorder because I wasn't sure if they were helping me or not. I have had heart palpitations for years and have to consistently take magnesium and potassium and use magnesium oil transdermally.I noticed despite all that my palpitations started to come back after I had been out of these for a bit so I reordered and after just one day of taking them the palpitations stopped. I guess malic acid is one of my daily supplements for life.These also help with my chronic muscle pain!

I tested this product twice with my nima gluten tester. Positive for gluten both times. No gluten ingredients are on the label. I have celiac disease and cannot take this product. Planning to return it when I'm up for the hassle.
