For Christmas my boyfriend asked for “a chef knife with some character”. We already have a set of cutco knives that are high quality and have served us well. So I wasn’t sure what “a knife with some character” meant. I found this on Amazon with one review and decided to take a chance on it because I liked the presentation of the knife. I opened the box early to make sure it lived up to its pictures. It 100% does. The presentation of this knife is magnificent. The package comes in a white textured gift box, that when opened reveals crisp tissue paper covering a leather box with snaps. The box feels sturdy and is an attractive smooth brown leather. The knife inside is stunning with a polished wooden Handel with inlaid metal designs. The blade has a cool pattern on it and the weight of the knife when you pick it up says “expensive”. In a second compartment there is a fancy metal blade guard that is both gorgeous and practical. I did not try cutting anything with the knife yet but the blade looks sharp. I didn’t want to get it dirty before giving it to him. This knife is pricy at $300+ but I believe that when he opens his present, he will be blown away.

Just buy it. It is worth every penny. I am not a chef but I do a lot of cooking and bbq ing As soon as I opened it it wowed me then I picked it up and boy is it just a joy to feel it. First use cut about 5 pounds of London broil into beef jerky slices about an 1/8 inch thick and it was such an experience. Sliced through so nice. First impression I thought it was going to be heavy and it’s perfect. I could go on for a long time and I used the knife once Best knife I have ever used I really planned to open the box try it be disappointed and send it right back It went right to my favorite one Love it. I was first hesitant to purchase this product due to its steep price, however once it arrived it started to make sense. Every kitchen needs amazing one time investment into king of the knifes. Knife and all the accessories seem very well made and it comes in a stunning packaging. Kind of made me feel spoiled.Have been using it for several months now and in a funny way it makes me want to cook more often 🙂

I usually never write reviews, but this knife needs its praise. It is by far one of the sharpest knives right out the box. I'm a sucker for a good unboxing also. They give you so much more than just a knife; there are some other objects that come with the knife and are top-notch quality also. There is to many details, and good things about this knife for me to type it all out will take too long, and I'll lose interest (adhd). The only flaw of the knife is that it is a bit heavier than all my chef knives.

I just received my knife yesterday in the mail and pictures just doesn’t do this knife justice. The presentation and packaging was well thought out. I don’t want to use the knife but put it on display in my office I’m a culinary instructor and it will make a good conversation piece when someone comes into my office. I’ll have to use at least once to see if it meets functionally along with its beauty in the kitchen. It was a little pricy but I think it was worth it.

Don't ask my why I pulled the trigger on this item but I'm glad I did. This is one of those items where you don't know you need it until you get it and it changes your life furthermore. I'm very proud of this investment and I use it even when it's not necessary 😭
