It works!!!
Works with iPhone 12. I can play Apple Music at high definition (HiFi) quality with my Fiio BTR7 to my Sennheiser HD 600. Good quality and clear sound.I wish it was an inch or two longer. Guess you can’t have it all

Works with iPhone IOS and FIIO BTR5
Finally, a cable that works perfectly for connecting an iPhone to a FIIO BTR5 DAC. Cable appears to be good quality - silver cable color that may or may not be silver coated? Sounds great - no crackles or microphonics. Might buy a second while I can find them!

Works perfectly for any DAC/Amp rated @ 5V 500mA on iOS 16.6 (or later)
As of writing this (6/28/23), you must have at least iOS 16.6 (beta) to get this working on an iPhone. Apple's fault as usual - but the adapter works great and saves me $20 and the extra bulk of Apple's ridiculous Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter. DO NOT settle for lower priced 3rd party lighting to camera adapters, which are all over Amazon. They DO NOT handle DAC's properly and are underpowered, despite advertising as alternatives to the OEM adapter. Out of 4, not a single one could power my 5V 500mA DAC/Amp, which is a pretty standard voltage/power rating. Currently running a set of Audeze LCD-2's paired up with E1DA's PowerDac v2.1.Update: does not work properly with 16.5.1 or 16.6. Audio cuts out after 1-2 seconds.

Slight Heat Buildup
I used this for my dac/amp dongle. I noticed slight heat buildup on the plug connected to my phone. I used this sparingly because of this concern.

Works with iPhone 14 Pro
Works as advertised with iPhone 14 Pro (and Qudelix 5K - charging circuit must be OFF). A little bit short (about 1.5x the length of an Apple dongle) and with both ends being straight it's difficult to position an iPhone and a mobile DAC with an audio cable connected all in your pocket without feeling like you're stressing a connector somewhere. At least one 90 degree end or a little bit of extra length would have helped, but the cable works and that's the most important part. The wire is braided (8-cores I think), but the cores are quite a bit thinner than what you would find on an average 8-core IEM cable. It's made well enough and looks nice, but I feel like I have to baby it due to what I said above, and the fact that it's $20 to replace it (which is actually cheap for a cable of this type that works properly, but still). It makes it feel like it will be easy to break due to the ergonomics, even if the construction is good. Time will tell.

Clearly not 12cm. Not even close
Claims to be 12cm in length. It's closer to 3-5cm in length. Works otherwise but will have to be replaced because the length is not long enough.

Best alternative to Apple camera adapter for Shanling headphone amps
This cable is an Apple Lightning to USB-C adapter that is optimized for use with the Shanling headphone amplifier; I'm using it with the UA2 Plus (which is also highly recommended). The standard recommendation for small USB-connected headphone amps is to use Apple's lightning-to-camera adapter, which costs $39 and is somewhat clunky. This Shanling is a much better alternative that takes the place of the Apple adapter and is far nicer to use. There doesn't appear to be any sound difference between the two products. Plus it's half the price! Some users have commented on the cable getting warm but I haven't found that. I also have never had any dropouts or signal loss after over 100 hours of use. Unless you need the camera adapter for another use, the Shanling L3 is the best product for using with the Shanling headphone amps.

Works well enough , deceptive cable purchase
The device works well and delivers good sound. However, the fact that you must purchase at $20 cable to use on iphone deceptively hides the cost of the product. It's just copper wires and some plastic people.Minor nit: the status indicator is the worlds smallest LED < 1mm. Use the margin from the iphone cable to give us another 1/2 mm.
