Giro Peloton Cycling Cap

I tried two other brands of cycling caps before ordering the Giro. The first was a Pace cap and the second was a no-name brand made in Italy. They were both too tight, too uncomfortable and didn't sit quite right on my medium-large head. So after almost giving up and going back to the baseball cap I took a chance on the Giro. I have to say that I really love this cap, a lot. The material is so soft and it fits so comfortably that I almost forget I have it on. The thing I love is that the entire cap, except for the visor, is made of a soft, elastic material so it conforms to the head perfectly. There's no bulging, peaks or ripples at the stitching. A very form-fitting, neat looking cap. I'll post an update to this review after a few miles and a few washings and let you know how it's holding up. But right now I'm ordering two more just to have as spares.

Great hat, with a great fit and great colorway. If it lasts half as long as some of the other Giro gear I have I will be a more than happy and satisfied customer. Comfort 5, Value 4.5 Sweatproof- not really supposed to be

Does a great job of keeping the sweat out of my eyes. Without this, the pads at the front of my helmet became saturated and would drip into my eyes any time I looked up. This wicks away the sweat, keeping me much more comfortable and able to see, which is useful when riding.I don't have a huge head, but this is a bit tight. It's not uncomfortably tight, but it does leave a line on my forehead when I take it off. If your head is even slightly larger than average, this might not fit.The peak is maybe a bit too large. I can't flip it up while wearing my helmet and it interferes with my vision slightly.

I've rode bikes for a few decades, and I have yet to find a more comfortable, breathable, functional cycling cap.

Great color - not the shade of orange that you see in the pic. Although the hat is "universal", it does run a little small, at least for my big noggin. Has to be further forward than I would like as if it further back the peak will not stay up. Other than that, it is comfortable and does the job keeping the sun off and keeping the sweat away.

I got this to protect my scalp from sun and to have a visor when the sun is in my face. Works great for both. Looks good too.

Product description says 50% Nanobon/50% Polyester, but the actual product label says 100% RECYCLED Polyester. The product itself is comfortable to wear, but does not wick sweat as good as it should. The head sweat gathers to the brim and drips onto your sunglass which can be even more annoying. Lastly, the brim deforms (slight bend) against wind unevenly once full of sweat.

This cap is awesome. Some other cheaper caps do a weird thing with the bill but this one is very nice. Fits great under a helmet with shades on. Wish it was available in a few more color options, but it delivers what it promises.
