Amazon Caused a Headache on a Great Product
This product is great. Solid piece of equipment with an accessory bundle and a high precision gear bar. The issue however was with Amazon. I ordered this product at a great price of $2352 and was very excited about my purchase. However on the morning of delivery I received an email saying my product was damaged in transit and was being returned. You can imagine my disappointment if you are an enthusiast like me. I had my room prepared, got rid of my current reformer and already had hundreds of dollars in accessories that I purchased at the same time as the reformer. I contacted Amazon to see if they were going to be sending a replacement machine but was surprised that they had already processed a refund (which I did not request). I was told to order the machine again at the current higher price of $3198.86 and that once I took delivery of the replacement machine I ordered I would get a refund for the difference in price. I did that. The reformer arrived in a busted box but I took delivery and we got the machine upstairs (not easy) and set it up. I went to Amazon chat, the same chat that still had the commitment to honor my original price on the damaged item. Well, I was turned down countless times with the pat answer of we don't do price differencing at Amazon and never have. I get that. I wasn't asking to price match a reformer I bought and used and then noticed a price drop. I was asking them to honor the price of the first machine they damaged as told to me by their associate. This is a dead end conversation with Amazon at this point. They want me to return my current reformer, which is already set up in an upstairs room, order a new one at a lower price (being out another big expenditure) to get the price of the first machine I ordered and was damaged without delivery. Be aware of this happening to you. Do not reorder if yours is damaged until the price drops again to the price you first purchased at.
