Excellent value for money; hardcover with beautiful art and an incredible story.One of the best Manga offerings out there.Came from the Anime, the manga has enough difference to be a worthy addition as another facet to the whole experience.

Definitely grips you with a big action scene to boot, but afterwards the pacing is a little terbulant to fit around the slightly out of place gripping an chapter 1.Great series though with a high quality print.

The story that comes after this first book is life changing with a historical element to it adding on to its greatness. The artwork is above the average quality of normal mangaka and the delivery was with no nicks or scratches so no problems here!

It's a really cool story about vikings, wars and revenge, it even has amazing art. Its honestly so good and I would reccomend it to anyone.

So I bought this series on a whim. All I knew was that it was about Vikings and the medieval era, as I am into all that type of thing. But wow, was I impressed. I read it in the space of just 2 days, and was amazed by the art, story and characters. I find Askeladd to be quite funny too! Thorfinn's back story is incredibly sad too. The book arrived in perfect condition, but I will point out the spine was quite flimsy, but it's fine. I have volume 2 and 3 ordered and I urge anyone who is considering to read this series to do so.
