The real thing!
I bought this Aesofotida to use in place of onion in a vegetable curry. It came in a resealable foil pouch and the colour is pale yellow. The flavour is smooth and I didn’t miss the chunks of fresh onion in the finished dish. There is no comparison between this brand and the white pungent stuff sold in the supermarkets, which I would advise not to waste your money on. Yes, this brand is more expensive but you get a generous amount and the company included an information booklet of all their spices which included some unusual ones. My only slight feeling is that it would be easier to store if it came in a jar but maybe a pouch is better to keep the spice fresh. Whatever, I will definitely be buying more. Excellent!

Good onion substitute for Low fodmap cooking.
This is a great spice if you need to cook without being able to use onion. It adds flavour to the dish which would otherwise be lacking.
