Lots of things to like....1) It's really solid - looks it too - doesn't look cheap or tacky/flimsy.2) GREAT aesthetic design - looks really good / stylish (imho), compared to pretty much every other design we looked at.3) Great mounting design, and very good looking mount cover to give a really clean, professional look to the fit.4) VERY strong design and materials - of course, the weight-*taking* ability will only be as strong as the wall that you mount it to. I of course mounted this to the outer brick wall, as opposed to even considering the other (stud) wall, for this reason).One thing I'd possibly suggest is that I'd have liked the screws and rawlplugs supplied to have been longer, BUT, they haven't given up yet I guess!I WAS tempted to mount this with my absolute go-to's, concrete screws, for complete peace of mind. If fitting this for a heavier built user, and you're a professional fitter or good at DIY, I'd highly suggest using these (75mm/100mm long, 6mm hole drilled into a wall, then just insert them, and let them 'dig' their way in by screwing them in, after possibly widening the holes for the supplied screws), as the wall would have to come down before the seat came out of the wall! - they're THAT strong of a grip / fit... :)But yes, highly recommended product! ...and very, VERY happy with it...

First of all, I should say I did not instal this in a shower, so I have no idea how it performs in the wet. I needed a "usherette seat" in my home cinema, and this fitted the bill. Unlike others I had seen, this one really does fold flat against the wall, which was an advantage as space is at a premium, and the dark coloured wood matches the decor well. I installed it on a brick wall, and used slightly bigger fixings than those supplied, just in case. It is now solid, and easily takes my weight (16 stone). Well pleased

I was looking for a nice solid seat to fit in a newly fitted shower room for my 94 years old mother.I pay extra to delivery the next day. Certainly order arrived within 18 hours.This is a solid teak seat. The bracket is strong and hold my weight 16 stones. Didn't even moved or buckle against solid wall.I ordered this one because it is very pleasing on the eyes and it cost me just over £93. A lot of the others are more expensive and horrible looking.Highly recommend buy this if you are looking for a nice looking seat

Solid product, well but not over packaged. Chose the style as was trying to avoid a lot of awkward crevices to keep clean in the shower & awkward pieces sticking out when folded up to the wall.Looks smart, comfortable & good size.Secures well to the wall & feels safe.Not your average looking disability aid & that's a big plus point!EDIT: Over a year on from original purchase. Item is still looking as new. Used daily. Thoroughly recommend.

Seat itself well made, chrome bracket covers actually plastic, one arrived cracked.
