I have just finished having some major internal works done, involving partial removal of ceilings, plaster, original brickwork etc. The contractors erected a thinish polytheme sheet to cordon off the work area, but inevitably dust came through. However, because I took the precaution of applying one of these sturdy polythene dust protectors to the outside of every door not affected by the works, I can honestly say I am finding it hard to find any dust attributable to the works!They were also effective, as I took the trouble to zip and unzip my way through the property as I went! Time consuming but worth the resultant lack of dust!The only negative is that the tape supplied to fix the polythene protector is really akin to masking tape and not fit for the purpose of ensuring that the cover stays in place over the door surrounds. However I had plenty of strong parcel tape which was ideal. I can now clean them and store for any similar future purpose.

Great product, good plastic and especially the zip. Did not tear after multiple opening and closing.The only thing to let it down is the tape that is provided. It it to narrow, it really needs to be a wider tape which luckily I had when was putting mine up. Made it easier and better to get a good seal.

We decided to use this on the walls of a corridor to block off a whole area of a house rather than a single room. We did use some extra command strips at the top and then just masking and duck tape down the sides. It is working brilliantly and gave us some unforseen benefits. Not only did it keep the dust out of this whole section of the house, it also kept out the smells and kept IN the heat! The builders had the doors and windows open where they working with the radiators off in that area. The rest of the house would have been freezing without this.Highly recommend! I've bought more already, and will use them again in future.

We used these covers for a refurbishment and done the trick well.

This is fairly robust, been in use for two weeks with regular opening and closing and during that time the zip has held up well. The plastic has only just begun to tear with perhaps twenty opening and closures a day.

Strong thick plastic with a really good zip keeps the dust in the room and out of the rest of the house . Well happy

The zip failed instantly and so failed at preventing dust spreadding. Absolutely rubbish.

Did not have any problems fitting it; size was just right, my only issue was the zip functio, this opened and closed about 3 times and zip broke afterwards. Plastic is resistant enough.
