this is the life line of water ,if its not pumping then change the pump and check your water floe to be accurate supply , they are good quality and hold up nice , most change once a year or about every few hundred hours , these make a year no problem and then some

Water pump housing was too small to fit my original, couldn't use all my rebuild parts.

Not all the pieces are the right parts
The main plastic cover was the wrong part and did not fit. The rest fit fine.

Read all of the description
When i ordered this it was because it said it fits the yamaha 50hp outboard. The part looks similar so i bought it. Well it turns out it fits the 50 hp 4 stroke NOT THE 2 STROKE. The gaskets dont line up correctly. Further in the description it does indicate this but it should have been more clear in the listing.My fault. Ill just keep it because the impeller is the same.

Bad cup
All boat mechanics know...the cup must be perfect....1 scratch ...it will quit pumping...Brand new out of the box...draw lines all the way around the cup....ABSOLUTELY useless
