Having borrowed this training collar in the past, I recently decided to purchase one for my own pup in preparation for her training.The collar is highly effective for training purposes. This is a brilliant concept for a collar. I like the safer, softer, rubber spikey options as an alternative to metal spikes. However, the individual pieces lost elasticity and began falling off the collar and getting lost. So I returned the collar and bought a Starmark Pro-Training Dog Collar instead. The Starmark is a far superior design, and it is plastic, which is still gentler and noninjurious than metal. The collar is solid and works like links to a wristwatch that we I can add and remove if needed. I do not recommend this brand. Get the Starmark instead.

This is one of the best collars I have ever gotten. It fits well, does not encourage the dog to pull, yet not heavy on the neck. Easy to put on and remove. We love it and so does Luna

The appearance was great and I was able to fit with ease but it didn’t stop my baby from pulling. Even with a correction the prongs didn’t affect her. I will say my dog is a Berniedoodle with long hair and thick skin. Maybe a short haired dog would do better.

Ok so I only gave a 3 cause our puppy has not started training yet, however I had the original collar like this was made of harder plastic worked great. After Christmas training begins I hope this softer plastic is as good as.

This collar was recommended by a friend. At first it seemed okay but turns out, it’s not for us. It’s complicated to adjust the width and the plastic pieces are more suited for a hairless dog or one with very very short hair. Our dog is short haired and it was still too much hair for this collar.

As a professional dog trainer I found this to be a great addition to the other collars that I use. Although it may not be as effective as some of the other collars, it does give you the "Goldilocks" option if you want something milder than most training collars. It works well if your dog is not a strong puller. Like any other collar, fit and knowing how to use it are critical! It's also much easier to put on and take off than most other training collars. The best thing is to try it out and see how your dog responds to it.

Better than pinch collar has large rubber “prongs” that do not dig into dogs neck but are big enough for correction needed on Doberman. Great find
