Swim instructor approved. This little vest is amazing. It keeps my kids arms free to practice swim strokes and also allows her to get her face down in the water while she swims. While the floatie vests with arms can make it harder for kids to learn how to swim bc it keeps them vertical in the water, this vest allows them to transition easily from floating to swimming.Love that the bouyancy is adjustable as well as she gets older. Child is currently 3 but we started her in this at age 2.

I was taught by my toddler's swim school that puddle jumpers are not good for creating independent swimmers so i bought this instead. After just one day of use, my daughter was swimming around confidently with this. After a few weeks, she was able to take it off and swim independently for short amounts of time!

Our son uses this once he gets tired of swimming or learning to swim without one. In a busy pool, he can keep up with friends and we worry less knowing he's safer with it on.

Causes a brush rash on my daughters legs from strap, but works good. She learned to swim with it.

Bought these for my two toddlers (2 and 4) and had a great experience using them. They helped encourage our adventurous 2 year old to use his arms and keep his head above water on his own. We noticed a huge improvement in his swimming just after the first weekend using it. We also used one on our 4 year old who has a lot of pool anxiety. He asked for his puddle jumper in the beginning because he is so used to that to keep him above water. The problem with the puddle jumper is that he was just floating and not learning to swim independently. This swimr vest encouraged him to use his arms and legs more naturally to actually keep himself upright. Honestly very surprised with the fact both of my kids didn't mind having them on so they must be pretty comfortable! I will say my kids wear a rash guard shirt so I can see how if you have the elastic sides against bare skin it might be scratchy. Family members who were swimmers all their lives were impressed by these!

I have loved these for both of my kids. It forces them to use their arms and legs and helps with learning to swim. You can remove as many flotation pads as you want, gradually, as they become stronger swimmers.

Keeps kids floating in the water. Removable pads thinner then expected but product still does as described. Good for kids aged 3+

Really happy we purchased this it is helping my child gain their confidence we have removed all but 3 foam pads and it's really helping gain the skills needed to swim
