it’s a great helmet for the price. No stamps but I put. Waffen ss on right side and Swaz on left. It’s on my big shelf and visitors love it. I tell them it’s not authentic but it looks great. Black helmet

I wore the American helmets with ease and comfort but German helmets have a different design for the inside. American helmets snug nice but German helmets after a while become uncomfortable. They make the wearer angry! Is it possible that this type of uncomfort made their soldiers so crazy in ww2?

This product is awesome. The weight is just right and the build is like it came right out of the factory in Germany 1939.It feels like it should stop small caliber rounds, like it will stop shrapnel knocking you out, like it should feel! If your looking for a period correct helmet for a REALLY GOOD PRICE the. By all means buy this one.It also comes with the cool net cover that allows you to attach foliage or cards or some other pleasing aesthetic to the top of the helmet.Also the helmet (while not the most obvious) does come with really nice touched such as german stamps that say (what I think is) "made in Berlin 1939" in german on the leather and something on the inside on the crown that I'm assuming says where it was made in germanAlso there is no sharp edges on any of the helmet and is comfortable. I had some buds hit the helmet while I was wearing the helmet and didnt feel any blunt spots. My dad has a slightly different shaped head and said the there was a spot on the back that hurts a little while wearing. I looked and saw a small rivet that was protruding out the back on the inside. Its actually the mounting point for the liner that holds the inside leather and yes it could possibly hit you. You can actually see the rivet point on the out side of the helmet on the back (It looks like a small flat button). I would advise putting a small foam or rubber nipple on this to help with that spot and while I'm at it the strap feels maybe a little thin but that could just be period correct so that would probably be the only twos complaint I have but they are irrelevant to me so I took no stairs offI intend to use this for airsoft and I will inconfidents after getting the product. Which means that I'll be using this to run around and get beat up. Use that information as you will.I also need to say that the helmet was very VERY well packaged and I would say that it will almost never come with a scratch from shipping. So if you need a new, never used look then this is also perfect for you.Really cool product and took a jump at this one so you guys dont have too! I fully support this product!

So I am leaving this Feedback on behalf of my Son for he is in whom I purchased this Helmet for...So my Son is a WWII History Buff as I am a Vietnam War History Buff...As I was in the Air Force, My Father in the Army & one Grandfather in the Navy (USA) & my other Grandfather in the Army (Germany) both my Grandfather's were in WWII & so we have German in our Blood & my Son has been very interested in both sides of WWII but let me say & make it clear we do not accept nor tolerate nor approve of the Negitivity of the need I say the name NO but negative party that took place on the German side...So with that said with my Son in a few years joining the U.S. Army he is a collectable of Military Memorabilia & things of that nature...I got him this Helmet because he is creating a WWII USA/Germany Collab of a Uniform & he loved the shape of these Helmets...All I can say is he LOVES the Helmet & so with that I would definitely recommend it for those that are WWII History Buffs or those that do Reenactments.
