Used plenty of cool water with a slow drilling speed of about 500rpm ...
Saved me many hours of struggle for cutting 75mm spotlight holes and various pipe holes into 10mm porcelain tiles. Used plenty of cool water with a slow drilling speed of about 500rpm and moderate pressure as instructed. Everyone on site seemed amazed how quickly they went through what it seemed fairly hard porcelain. Cutting through ceramic tiles is easier than cutting though wood. Haven't used a single cutter for more than 6-7 holes but they don't show any damage or wear signs and I expect them to last a while. Very pleased overall.

This is fantastic
Brilliant piece of kit. Cuts through porcelain like a hot knife through butter. Minimum effort. Not the cheapest bit of kit, but this was the cheapest I could find it. Get what you pay for.... Buy cheap buy twice. Thourghly recommend!

Very disappointing and prone to inaccuracy
This idea of using the suction guide is just madness, If you have marked the position of the required hole centre, you know have to measure out from the centre to the width of the hole you want in at least two directions and remark.then somehow lock the sucker down on the tile in the exact position. The guide does not rest on the tile so your only hope is to put the hole cutter against it and try to see if it is on your two new marks. Then when you start cutting - in my case a 20mm hole, the cut aways to allow the tile cut to be ejected catch on the guids which introduces a wobble. you can see this on their demonstration video and they are cutting a much bigger hole. They have over layed the video with raucous music which i suspect is to hide the sound of these holes catching twice with each revolution. The selection i have was bought some years ago and has the provision for a centre drill to be fixed but there never was one to buy. As mine have the provision i will try to find one that fits as i am not prepared to waste my time trying the guide ever again. You of course will be buying the updated version without that facility so unless you can use the cutter on a bench drill with water coolant I recommend you buy something else that has a centring drill. On the plus side they do cut well.
