Exceeded my expectation
The media could not be loaded. Solid and rigid handy wee unit and i actually added some features on to the unit ,Great for creative people , great for mature teenagers and adults but not good idea for kids ( if do adult supervision needed ) when assemble the unit take your time and make sure all the pieces are in correct order as the paper instructions can be tricky also get a good proper screwdriver , don't use the screwdriver that come with the box , finally i don't use the wheels as prefer flat on floor but the wheels is low quality and its not build to last so my advice is go to hardware store and buy proper wheels ,This unit exceeded my expectation ...

Bad Quality Product
I gave it one star because it is functionable, but that is the best thing I have to say about it. Although it is functional, the shelf does not stay in the exact position you move it to when you put it back into position above the cabinet. It's the quality that lets it down big time. Marks all over it. Chips in wood. Fixtures and fittings not fitting exactly. There are instructions with it so that's a bonus, but be careful you use the screws that's instructed for each part. I would have returned it if I could have been bothered taking it apart again. I also think there should have been an option to have the swivel arm on the other side to enable use on two sides. I'm using it on my left side which means the drawers are facing inwards so I can't use them. I couldn't find an alternative to this or I would have.

Disappointing but meets the need!
Update 10th Dec 2020:Today, the screw/handle that is used to tighten and keep the telescopic arm at the desired hight, gave way and it was impossible to tighten up. I had to drill a hole right through the arm and put a large screw through to stop it sliding down. I noted that the whole system for telescopic arm movement was reliant on the easy to break soft metal screw, pressing against the inner plastic sleeve; which never actually had enough pressure to stop the arm from slowly sliding down!We have fixed the arm permanently at a given hight, no longer able to swivel, but no longer slides down while working. If I had not done this, the bedside table would of been unusable and scrap!Original post:Due my wifi having to work from home at the moment (8 months now). We don’t have a spare room to set up her office. She uses the bedroom, which is not ideal. Her back started playing up and we had no room for her special work chair. So I saw this desk and extendable laptop holder and ordered it.We were disappointed at the quality of this product, I have attached 3 images, one shows a locking nut that shattered while trying to get it to lock onto the screw, the other shows an unsightly chip on the panel and finally the finish to the top part where laptop sits, very poorly done, although we were able to remove the excess glue, still it is unsightly.I did not find it to difficult to build, using a mix of online video and paperwork provided, and with my wife holding parts in place we were able to complete in a couple of hours. the packaging of the all the screws is well done and each screw compartment identified, as are most of the other parts; those that were not, were easy to identify. In use, we were relieved that she was able to sit on the bed, with her back supported and the telescopic arm/worktop fitted over her legs, she was able to continue her work, with a substantial reduction in back pain. There was a annoying issue with the telescopic arm, tightened as tight as we dare, slowly dropping down. If I drilled a hole into the arm, so the screw would go into the hole rather then press against to inner arm, that might of fixed it, or the soft metal screw might bend and break. Instead we found a cardboard container the fitted under the other side (whilst on the bed), which seems to prevent the arm slowly dropping while you type, how long the box lasts is anybody’s guess. We also tried it in the lounge whilst sitting on the sofa, although we could not support the laptop table, so it kept slowly dropping down, also while sitting there, my wife tended to lean forward and that triggered her back pain. The whole adjustable table, is okay, it works with some tinkering, it’s finish is quite poor and we don’t think the price reflects the quality. Although I believe it’s hard to get genuine quality now days, often paying more you still get the same poor quality goods, you just have less finances left. So if you purchase this desk to meet a need, understand your paying to meet your need, not for the quality of the goods!

Useful piece of furniture
Firstly, I strongly recommend this product. It is well made and sturdy. In the assembly process, I particularly liked the way the screws etc were in separate pouches, with identifying letters. One piece of advice is to be very careful you get the shelf the right way round, so that the screw holes align, when constructing the top of the drawers and attached pieces. I like the way that the drawers have four sides, separate from the attached front piece, which increases their strength. I also like the little touches such as the way the drawer sides fit together (proper carpentry) and the little dowels in the more substantial screw holes. All-in-all, the versatility of the product, and its build quality, fully justify the cost. One minor niggle is that there was a dink in one of the wooden pieces, exposing the board underneath and a little of the plastic trim on the side, had come away

Fit For Purpose However Poor Quality
I purchased this unit to use for crafting & it's design is perfect for my needs, it's a great size, has tons on storage and a good size working area however that's where the positives stop.....Every panel was damaged in some way with scratches down the face, poorly fitted trim on the edges however this must of happened during manufacture as the packaging was in tact & actually quite good. The unit is tricky to put together but not that bad if you check out the install video & follow the instructions carefullyOnce built it seems pretty solid although the panels are not the best fitting for example the end with the pole attachment for magazines is 6mm shorter on the left than it is on the right. The other annoying thing is that there appears to be no way of contacting the seller who I believe is based in China. All in all this unit us perfect for my needs & will with time end up covered in paint & glue anyway...... however it is in no way worth the price tag, at £75 it's only worth it if there's nothing else out there that meets your needs.Great Product, Poor Quality, Poor Value For Money..... a real shame
