Shows off all of my beautiful fp inks and has a ton of pages while remaining slim. I also like the versatility of the line spacing. I can comfortably write small within the squares or double up and write within a roughly 7mm line spacing. Can't beat that versatility in my eyes.

Using it to take scientific notes as work, love how it works with my fountain pen

Naturally gravitate towards using this notebook. Works best with fine and extra fine nibs. However ink takes a long time to dry.

Really love this notebook. The paper quality makes you want to write in it. It's the most consistent I've used a notebook in years.

I am SO glad they added this cover as an option for A5 this year. This cover is by far my favorite that Hobonichi has ever offered. I bought the A6 notebook last year and loved it. I do wish that the cover was a similar material/sturdiness to the Hobonichi Weeks/HON. It's still durable, but the finish on those other two items from the same artist is way more luxurious. Always love Tomoe River Paper, so overall an A+ from me!

Excellent journal and paper is amazing.

Simply beautiful.The cover is a glossy finish and not the cardboard matte finish like the other plain Hobonochi notebooks. I love the paper, though it is less creamy in colour than the planners.

I’m in love with the cover, the paper, and the freedom to design my own journal/planner. I hope these never run out!
