This coolant piping is metal which is much better than the original plastic piping. It comes with 2 sizes of O rings to ensure a good fit. Mine would not accept the O rings that were installed but the smaller O rings in the enclosed packet fit perfectly. The fit was tight but as expected. Great product and I expect another 100,000 miles plus from this product.

Had the oem plastic nipple break off our coolant system. Saw this as an upgrade and it is working perfectly and fit great as well.

If your Jag/LR is leaking from this fitting on the water pump, no need to replace the entire water pump or the overpriced OEM hose as it is a common failure point and will likely fail again.Make sure to get the fragments of the old fitting and old O-ring out. May need a mirror and I used a dental pick to get mine out.A bit tricky to get the new grey retainer back in as the edges have little barbs but get it most of the way and a little tap got it in. And a decent push when inserting the fitting but works perfect and feels more secure.Nice upgrade to the plastic part. Why there is not more public outcry over manufacturers using plastic parts for car engines I’ll never know. What part of heating up a piece of plastic to 180 degrees over and over don’t they understand.

I’ve bought several of these, the first ones worked great. Now it seems all the ones I get, the ends of the brass piece are razor sharp and just instantly cut up the oring and leaks.

My independent mechanic did this job for me this week. He said the aluminum pipes are cast excellent/high quality And that he sees plastic coolant pipes cracking often not just on Land Rover but other high end vehicles too. MOST IMPORTANT buy Genuine Coolant System Bleeder Plug LR011038. As you can see in the first picture, mine crumbled internally when he was taking it out so that it couldn’t be reused. So, I had to make the trip yesterday 130 miles to the Land Rover dealer to buy a $10 part so he could finish today. The parts manager there told me that most often when this job is done the bleeder plug must be replaced. I wish this was included with these pipes or at least mentioned by the seller. Next, buy the green O-rings (RKX replacement for LR010800) they sell separately. He told me these were much easier to work with than the included ones. As I understand it, the pipes fit very snug so a bit of flexibility is needed with the O-rings to align the pipes. Finally, be sure to buy the oil cooler O-ring and gasket. I’m very lucky and thankful that my low coolant light came on locally and the vehicle wasn’t being driven on a trip. He explained to me that manufacturers of the component parts often use recycled plastics and that overtime cannot hold up to 230 or 240° temperatures. Also, he said the specs for this product are probably 1 cm or so off from the factory design so that is what makes it so difficult to get them to lineup perfectly and where the green O-rings especially helped.

Great price, fit was as it should be. All the accessories were in the box with the part so I didn't have to go looking for some.That made my job a lot easier and saved me time, and for that I thank you.

I was unsure how to install the o ring at first, I messaged the seller after their hours and received a response immediately to my surprise with a full explanation and they even made and uploaded a video. Above and beyond service, my range rover is running beautifully
