These are simple enough that my 90 year old mom and her fellow seniors can (and do) use them without struggling to remember codes or downloading apps. And the sound is loud enough that it can be heard even without their hearing aids in their ears.

The first setting is loud enough ,it does make me feel safer , my neighbors can hear the alarm on the lower setting.

These door stoppers/alarms are easy to set up, and are loud enough for anyone to hear (if set to alarm). I tested one of the pair, and it worked fine; I should really test the other as well. I'm not sure how sturdy they are, as I don't want to damage one by seeing how much abuse it can take. I expect that they're a relatively easy way to keep folks out of places that they know they shouldn't be poking around in, although I haven't sprung that surprise on anyone yet. So far so good, and I'll update this review if the need arises.

Remember to buy a C battery for this! However, it does work quite well. It is very loud.

I have to start traveling alone for work soon— I purchased 1) the addalock portable lock 2) AceMining lock bar and 3) these door stop alarms. Of the three products, the door stop actually did the BEST job clearly keeping the door shut AND at the lowest volume setting the alarm still blew my eardrum out. Love it!!!! I tried it on tile, hardwood, and carpet and it worked equally well on all three. My boyfriend is 6”1 and over 200 lbs and he couldn’t get the door open with the door stop there. At $10 for two i don’t see why you shouldn’t buy this— door stays shut and the alarm will stop anyone from even sticking around to try and get it open.

They work great very loud I love them

This was a great product and I have used once. Easy to use. Just a note to make sure to buy batteries! I have gotten used to most things coming with a cheap battery and didn’t double check before I tossed it in my suitcase. Completely my fault for assuming and not double checking.
