Love it. Kind of Sweetish bread, very dark. Another Great German successful bread. As usual. Why do they have better bread than UK. Only problem friends its to expensive. Must be brought down in price. Come on Amazon. Help out here.

Arrived damaged and dented, useless for long term storage.

Very good. Bought it to keep in the campervan, without havng to worry about the "use by" date. Tastes good, as good as fresh I'd say, ready sliced, long life, what's not to like? Well it is pricey, so I'd say best buy it for specific emergency type roles.

Nice taste of Rye, good to have with cheese.

I bought this product last week and am so impressed have made another order. Although expensive this bread is a wonderful additive free and healthy alternative to other breads and I would say the King/Queen of pumpernickel bread. I have tried other pumpernickel and there is nothing to compare, or as far as I know. Initially I bought it to put in my emergency food store box, but feeling curious just had to try it out. For this purpose of storing it is also contained in a robust container where it doesn't become crushed, whereas those in cellophane tend to burst at the seams and then the breads won't keep.

Why don’t they sell Pumpernickel in the stores? I don’t think people in the UK realise that there are better things to eat cheese with, and for me pumpernickel just does it… and in a tin, stick it in a fridge, have piece anytime you like, awesome…

Quick delivery and lovely flavour pumpernickel. being in a tin is a good idea to keep fresher for longer as there is plenty of it. All round good product and service.
