Very nice for the price!
This is a pretty cute bench. For occasional use as a pillow holder, I’m pretty impressed. It assembled easily using tools provided. One person job. Velvet is nice. I cannot attest to stain prevention or durability but the white velvet does look risky. The gold legs have a slight glittery finish to them, which was unexpected, but for my purposes works just fine. There is a clear difference between this bench and something that would be more high-end, but for this price, you get what you pay for – which is a nice little bench that probably can take occasional use.

Was great until it wasn’t
Loved how this bench looked and went perfectly in our room at the end of the bed. We would sit on it from time to time to tie our shoes. Barely had it for a year and my husband went to sit on it and the legs snapped off. He is not a big guy and was under the weight restrictions.
