Exactly what I was looking for!
I ordered 2 of these handrails for our sidewalk steps and our front porch. As some other people have mentioned, we had to purchase other bolts from the hardware store. The bolts that came with the handrails are not strong. Overall, the handrails were not hard to install, they are strong & sturdy and look beautiful. An excellent price compared to other sellers I looked at. We installed one into concrete and the other one in wood. Both worked great. We are pleased with this purchase!

Buy different concrete wedge bolts
First thing I did was to go purchase different concrete wedge bolts. The size they send is a wierd size and I purchased name brand concrete wedge bolts 3/8 inch by 2 3/4 inch long. You will have to drill the holes in the post and make them just a little bit larger. The new bolts are about half again larger and are so sturdy. The cover still works good and covers the nuts and bolts. Really happy with it now and the post is so sturdy.

Perfect for above ground pool access
We needed handrails to put on a stair riser we built for an above ground pool that had a dome. The standard pool rails were too big and not designed to fit on our top step of the stairs to get in and wouldn't clear over the dome. Have had for a few weeks already. These worked perfectly as the handle toward the pool overlaps just enough to allow the dome to close easily, give us easy access to open and close the flap and give us an easy to reach handle when we are exiting from the steps in the pool. We used two, one for each side to have twice the support as we are older and before these it was very difficult to get in and out of the pool with included pool ladder. They are surprisingly sturdy attached just with the included screws and base. My husband clear-coated them with Rustoleum since they will be out in the sun and rain. Hoping to get years of use. Would recommend availability in brushed chrome as better for outdoors without paint IMHO but for the price, will buy again if necessary to replace.

Well made, and well accepted by those in need...
This unit seems sturdy and well made. Welds are top notch. Unit is sturdy. Easy to assemble and install. For the few people that live / visit here, my installation of this hand railing was very well appreciated and received. It should give many years of dependable service. For those of you who don't like the black, it should be very easily painted with a couple cans of spray paint; I suggest giving it a couple light coats of spray primer first. I left ours black. I am very pleased with this hand rail.

The lag screws and concrete anchors are terrible
I bought a special 10mm metric concrete bit per the instructions. Drilled 4 holes and installed the concrete anchors. Then when installing the lag screws that came with the handrail, the heads of the screws twisted off while the screws were still over 1/2" from being tight. The quality of the lag screws were terrible, very soft metal. I was not able to remove the anchors once they were tapped into the drilled holes so I ended up drilling 4 new holes and buying a different kind of concrete anchor. With the second set of holes and the high quality anchors everything worked fine. So a quick install job ended up taking hours to complete after twisted off bolt heads and having to buy different anchors and drill a second set of holes. Really not a good experience! The handrail itself was fine, so recommend if you purchase this item to buy your own high quality concrete anchors and bolts, don't try to use the cheap ones that come with it.

Concern regarding strength
The media could not be loaded. I love how it looks and that was a strong factor when the purchase was made. My concern over the stability came when I went to install it. With only 1 post I feared that after some used it might eventually break loose from the brick step that is under the wood planks. After some thought about returning it for a different model I decided to attach it to the wall as shown in the video. This did the trick and I’m happy with it. The mounting hardware that came with it for mounting was cheap feeling so I bought some Red Top anchors that are pushed into the drilled holes then secured by striking them with a hammer. I used a longer one for attaching it to the wall to compensate for the size of the tubing. These were purchased at Home Depot after speaking with a contractor that happen to be in the same isle. My luck was good that day because he was buying some for a job he had. I have some black fingernail polish that will camouflage the silver button that is showing. The floor anchors are covered with a cap that came with it as shown in the pictures.Regardless of my opinion that it’s weak when installed as designed I would still get it because I like the way it looks. And much more important than that, it is the one that my wife liked the best. If I didn’t have a wall that it could be secured to replacing it with another two legged model would be my only choice. When we bought the house 30 years ago there was a railing on each side of the steps that was also a single leg and mounted to the wall. But I took them out because we were young and didn’t need the help. But after back surgery, bad knees and age it is necessary.
