Ok On sensitive scalp - Expensive - Smells ok
Despite its soothing action and reasonable effectiveness, I must admit that the price of the product is quite shocking for just a 300ml bottle. It has improved the condition of my scalp, leaving my hair soft and shiny, with less frizz. The shampoo is mild enough not to cause any irritation, making it suitable for my more sensitive scalp. While the cost is a bit steep , I am pleased with the results and will continue using it.

Price is shocking
The L'Oréal Professionnel Scalp Advanced Anti-Discomfort Dermo-Regulator Shampoo is a great option for sensitive scalps. It provides soothing action and effectively addresses discomfort. However, the price of the product is quite shocking for just a 300ml bottle. Despite the higher cost, the shampoo delivers good results and helps alleviate scalp issues, making it worth considering for those with sensitive scalps.

Shame about the price
I really like this shampoo. It spreads out well on the head, so a little goes a long way, and it has a lovely fresh scent. I have a lot of trouble with itchy scalp and am forever chopping and changing shampoos to find something that helps. This isn't a miracle worker by any means, but it's the best I've tried and my scalp is drastically better since starting to use it.It also leaves my hair lovely in general - It was noticeable from the first use, as soon as I started rinsing it out in the shower I noticed how soft my hair felt, and it's much less frizzy when I let it air dry compared to normal. The only downside to this shampoo is the price - At the time of writing it's around £20 for a 300ml bottle, which personally I think is a bit steep for a shampoo.

Cleans well on a variety of hair types.
🚿 After using the product a few times, I tried to work out what the elusive smell was, but I couldn’t really pin it down. It is certainly pleasant and vaguely recognisable. It has a clean, fresh smell that reminds me of a seaweed scrub. The shampoo is clear, lathered up well in the shower, and afterward, the hair felt clean. My daughter tried it, and in contrast to me, she has thick, very long hair with a purple dye on it. He was happy with the result, and there was no interaction with the colour of her hair. We didn’t expect any, but it was worth checking. She washed her hair twice, and the second time she needed very little lather to cover her scalp, even with hair down to her waist. So, it seems with this product, a little goes a long way, which is good news given the cost.💧 The cost is quite steep for only 300 mL of the product. For a "professional" product, I would expect near perfection from a premium brand such as this. Of course, the product information is full of the usual technobabble, such as "anti-discomfort protocol", designed to lull you into thinking it is more than it is. The formulation does seem to be of good quality.🚿 If you want to delve into the ingredient list, then that will be hard going. Different shampoo manufacturers use different variations of ingredient names, which makes it difficult to compare products. I’ve also stopped getting too wrapped up in what the ingredients can and can’t do. For example, hexylene glycol is a widely used ingredient in shampoos to improve the texture and flow of the product, but you wouldn’t want to be exposed to a lot of it all at once. This is more or less true of most shampoos and conditioners nowadays.💧 The whole family was impressed by the shampoo, but perhaps not with the price. It seemed to cope with a variety of hair types, from oily to brittle to long and dyed. The scalp was well cleaned and didn’t seem to be dried out afterward. It is an impressive product, but you do need deep pockets. Maybe it is worth it to reserve it for a special occasion or a night out when you want to be pampered. ✔️

Good for sensitive scalp
I have sensitive scalp which easily gets irritated by hair products like shampoo, conditioner, hair gel, etc., so I need to be careful with the type of products I use. This hair shampoo is mild enough to not cause any irritation, which is wonderful. The scent smells nice too and not too strong. The gel is lightweight but it lathers well and leaves my hair soft and shiny.Overall, I am very pleased with this product although the price is a little high at £20.15 for 300ml. However, it does suit my scalp and I will continue on using.

Soothing shampoo
A review from the wife... This is a lovely soothing shampoo for my scalp. I straighten my hair regularly and colour my hair so my scalp often feels irritated and itchy. This shampoo does a good job of soothing the scalp and reducing itchiness for about three days. You only need a bit of this shampoo as it lathers very well. It feels your head feeling cool and soothed. I used it in combination with the Scalp Advanced anti discomfort hair treatment which worked better than using the hair treatment on its own. It is a pricey product and I will be unlikely to buy it too often because of this.
