Provided you follow the instructions properly, this stuff is easy to use. Whatever product you use to remove the rust etc, MUST be washed out thoroughly and the tank should be completely dry (i used a hairdryer for about an hour), once that's done, pour in the tank sealer (after plugging the fuel tap hole) and rotate the tank lots of times to ensure coverage, drain off the excess and leave for a few days, Job done!

Following the instructions it worked perfectly. However once opened the product can't be stored, the fact you can't keep excess for further possible use at a later date seems wasteful.

Used on a motorcycle tank. I cleaned the tank first and could see daylight through pin holes in the base. I filled the holes with epoxy from the outside (underneath the tank), then used the sealer. Followed instructions and it worked. No leaks at all, whereas before it would drip fuel out. But I have noticed there is a slightly noticeable odour of petrol in the garage whilst the bike is parked after a few days, none is leaking as I've checked thoroughly but some vapour must be slowly permeating through. Wellpleased though because the tank was scrap otherwise. Would recommend. The quantities quoted for the size of tanks are correct, so get enough if your tank is big.

I restored my tank and bought this highly hyped product, expecting the advertised results. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the task. The tank was prepped exactly as per the instructions, and while the application was indeed easy, the end result was a complete disappointment. In some areas where the layer was a bit thicker, it bubbled up and developed pores. Other parts are visibly bubbled and lifting off. So much for the “no peeling” claim. And of course after a time you can see rust appears in those cracks and pores ...such a disappointmentAdditionally, this product is highly contaminated and cannot be reused. After using it on a 19-litre tank, I still had about a quart of product left in the tin.Customer assistance was poor. I reported the issue and attached pictures, but all I got was a response to call them, without even providing a phone number. What a joke.Beware, you cannot return this item for poor results, and Amazon won’t refund or help. Sending something that has led to a brittle, dried state is just dangerous.
