Large, soft-ish rubber. Fits snug - no wobble at all. The rubber part can be rotated to suit your taste/eye.I wear glasses but find adjusting the camera dioptre and looking at the Live View LCD easier. I get better "cut out" when having the "long end" pointing to the bridge of my nose.A simple thing but does the job very well.

It fits my Sony A7II can’t say that it obstructs my view of the eye viewer screen or the tilt screen on the back of my A7II its ok I am happy with it, and would recommend it, true it feels different to the eye cup that came with my a7II but it will, given it’s a different shape and design to the original one that came on the camera. it helps cut out the light and helps in giving me a clear view of the image through the viewer and I am happy with this product

Even though the product is of good quality (2 weeks in use), the fit/comfort are not very good. Some light comes through because it doesn't fit properly in the eye socket. Mediocre design :/If I had tried it beforehand, I wouldn't recommend it. Buy it keeping in mind that is an low budget solution.

I don’t want to write a negative review just a honest opinion, the view after fitting is restricted I thought it was just me so I held the original eyepiece and this and it’s smaller, it’s not expensive others are 3 to 4 times the price, I returned mine yesterday

I really wanted to like this eyecup. I bought the Sony version for my A7iii and it fitted perfectly. It felt comfortable to against my eye, but I immediately noticed a kind of haze all around the edges of my view of the EVF. I tried to ignore it or look around it, but it was everywhere. I removed it from the camera and realised that the interior surfaces of the hard plastic part which attaches to the camera are very reflective. In my photo you can see the bottom surface appears very bright - but it's actually black. This makes the eyecup completely useless for me, and unfortunately I'll be returning it. Disappointed!

I do wedding and event photography, and when I switched from a Canon DSLR to a Sony mirrorless A7III, I had a difficult time adjusting to the electronic viewfinder(EVF). It was difficult to see the EVF in bright daylight conditions, so I thought I'd give this wrap around eyepiece a try. I've been very satisfied with its performance, and considering the price, it is an amazing value. I use my camera almost everyday, and this has made it so much nicer to use. I just bought my second on, as I wore the 1st out after about 2 years of use. That may sound like a short lifespan, but if you saw how much use my camera got, you would be impressed.

Como videografo y fotografo profesional agradezco pequeños detalles como el que supone tener un ocular para el visor de la cámara.Aunque es de plástico duro, (los prefiero más blandos) el ocular cumple su funcion perfectamente, adaptándose al contorno del ojo y evitando así que se cuele la luz.Es un buen producto en su relación calidad precio.

This eyepiece is soooooo much better than Sony's factory eye cup. It doesn't pop off and it eliminates side sun glare thereby making your outdoor 77photography shooting a pleasure rather than a chore! If you have a Sony A7, A7ii then get this eyecup!

It blocks the light from entering the view finder. Makes focusing much easier.
