Need Convincing?
I've used Maple Holistic's "Silk 18 Conditioner" for years and love it. So I was excited to give this set a try. If you are reading reviews and are debating about this set, let me do my best to address your concerns. If you are concerned about the:1. Size vs. price of the bottles: I have really long, thick hair and have struggled in the past with the amount of product it requires each time I wash it. This shampoo and conditioner is highly concentrated and only requires about a quarter sized amount of product to wash my hair. (See pics) Since I only wash my hair once a week, these bottles will last me about 8 months. That is actually a pretty good value if you look at it like that. If you're hair is shorter than mine, yours will probably last much longer.2. Ingredients: (From the photos and NOT the website) Aqua, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Lauroamphoacetate, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Sodium Lauryl Glucoside Carboxylate, Lauryl Glucoside, Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Acrylates Copolymer, Coco-Glucoside, Glyceryl Oleate, Phytokeratin, Simmondsia chinesis (Jojoba) oil, Peppermint (Menthapiperita) oil, Spearmint (Menta spicata) Oil, Wild Mint (Mentha arvensis) Oil, Bergamot Mint (Menta citrate) Oil, Eucalyptus Mint (Eucalyptus polybractea) Oil.* If you're concerned about any of the ingredients, I looked each one up on the EWG website. All of the non-essential oil ingredients were ranked with a "1" in the Skin Deep Cosmetics Guide. Some of them had "limited" or "none" in the data section. I didn't look up the essential oils because I'm assuming you know about the benefits/concerns of EOs if you are wanting to know about specific ingredients. ;)I'm really picky with the ingredients I put on myself, on my children, or in my house. I actually make almost all of my own soaps, cleaners, and lotions myself. Anyone who has ventured into making products themselves knows that shampoo and conditioner are a hard transition. None of these ingredients gave me reason to be concerned. I would have no problem using them on my children, but I don't know the concentration of certain essential oils, so I don't use this on them.3. Scent: I am crazy picky about smells and I avoid products that have "fragrance" on the ingredients list. For Maple Holistics to use only essential oils to scent this set, I'm thoroughly impressed!! This smells A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.!!! It smells like mint candies! (YUM!)4. Quality: As previously mentioned, I have really long hair and it tends to be on the dry side. This is silky smooth. For real. You will probably be surprised how silky your hair feels afterwards. I also have NOT noticed my hair having build up like some shampoos/conditioners tend to feel.My overall opinion (if you care to know) is that I DEFINITELY recommend this!If you found my review informational, please click "helpful" below. Thank you!

P good
This combination is really good at controlling how frizzy/poofy my thick hair is. It's more moisturizing than you would think, while still being a really good cleanser. I prefer the brown bottle (I think it's the argon) this brand sells, but this is a close second and smells natural. I use it on my kids hair.

Strong smell, if you don't like tea tree oil, stay away!
I swim, almost daily. I have/had the healthiest hair any hair dresser has seen....but after swimming, my hair got frizzy and dry. I couldn't stand it anymore, so I bought this. In other reviews, they say the smell is strong, and that is true, but now I'm used it! Love the shampoo and conditioner! Looked on the actual website to try to get larger bottles, and didn't find any š£ so I wish it came in a larger bottle, and you cant buy the conditioner seperate, which i find odd. You can get the shampoo, but not the conditioner.....don't we all go thru more conditioner or is it just me?!?! Hahaha! Also, the price here on Amazon is decent, but on the holistic page....2 bottles for $24!!! Forget that! I'll stick with amazon!

Great product!
So, I buy peppermint essential oil products because I have a condition called Chronic Daily Migraine Syndrome that causes extreme migraines of which makes my head swell and literally sweat. Migraine therapists instructed me to use 100% peppermint oil to help cool as well as offer pain relief. I tried adding peppermint oil to my shampoo and conditioners, but it just seemed like it was more work because it would separate from the shampoo or the conditioner causing over cooling to my head and body.About 2 years ago I started ordering different shampoos and conditioners that claimed to have 100% peppermint oil. I have literally bought every single kind on the market in and out of the country...Iāve tried them all, so this review is very straight forward. I need to also clarify that I have very thin hair that ends up damaging faster than normal trying to style it, so I also have to use hair masks. The majority of the products claiming to have peppermint in them are bogus...they either have a faint smell or no smell at all, and if Iām paying for peppermint, I want the smell as well of which helps with pain management. I also either found that they either stripped all of the oils from your hair or over oiled your hair leaving it greasy just like happens when I tried to add it myself to current shampoos and conditioners. I also expect there to be cooling or tingling sensation happening to the skin or itās not real peppermint. Here is the list of the products I actually do like that donāt strip my hair or make it greasy, that actually smells like peppermint, and that actually gives that cooling or tingly sensation:1. Maple Holistics Winter is fantastic but my only negative is the size. They are more like a larger travel size, of which works when I travel, but runs out for daily use. It smells fantastic, but not just peppermint is in it...there are other mint oils in it as well. I highly recommend if you donāt wash daily or want a great peppermint travel shampoo and conditioner.2. Botanic Hearth Peppermint Shampoo and Conditioner. This brand is only using peppermint oil with no other mint flavors added. They are larger pump bottles and I keep them in my shower because they meet daily needs.3. Sunflower Mega Care Peppermint Oil Premium Hair Mask. Man...this stuff is fantastic for once a week deep conditioning. I tend to not use but half a package at a time though because my hair is so thin.I donāt normally do many reviews, but I really like this product just wished it was bigger bottles. I wanted to include the other products I love because I know Iām not the only person out there dealing with pain management and wanting good products that work. I hope this helps someone.

More like clarifying
This isnāt what I expected for a hard water shampoo. However the company reached out and was understanding and offered an exchange for something else or a refund. Which showed me that they care and the customers do matter so for that I appreciate and would change my review to 3 stars because the customer service was important. I received a refund. So if you donāt like the product reach out to the company and give them a chance to correct the problem.
