A great organic low-cost substitute for your non-organic crushed red pepper.

Arrived quickly, packaged well and a fresh spice! Have used for many recipes and have not been disappointed to this point. I will continue to purchase when needing crushed peppers for future recipes!

EDIT 8/2023 I love the first bag I bought and put the chili flake on subscription. Unfortunately, the second shipment was nothing like the first! Very little heat, and VERy little flavor. So disappointing.I made a small batch of chili oil, then put flakes on a crab salad and the flavor was terrific.The salad dressing stained a lovely red, as did the oil.

I keep these on hand for multiple reasons and we tend to go through a lot. I'm always happy with Frontier products.

Looks, smells, tastes fresh. Very hot, but great for stews, sauces, chili, and soups (a small amount).

I wanted to grind into a powder but my grinder is too weak. It is hot and little goes a long way.

As with a lot of the bulk products I get, most of this is given to friends. They all rave about it. Winner.
