This suitcase is so fantastic, that I ordered 2 more, in other sizes. First of all, it feels and IS very sold and strong. Second, it looks very expensive and chic. People in airports actually stop and compliment the suitcase. They look so nice, that I use then for coffee tables, when I'm not traveling! Best of all is the price. I think they are a great value.

And no longer have to worry about TSA breaking into my bag or strangers opening it since it will be locked. It definitely does not feel like it would break. It slammed down pretty hard but luckily for me it is my carry-on and I will never send it under the plane.

Me la llevé a un viaje de dos semanas en Italia y a mi esposo y a mi nos sorprendió lo increíble que esta maleta, tiene excelente espacio, el material es muy resistente, y las ruedas deslizan súper suave, la pase por las calles de Italia que son adoquinadas y las ruedas siguen como nuevas.En uno de los vuelos me pidieron que la documentara por que había muchas maletas arriba y resistió súper bien a los maltratos que causan las aerolíneas a las maletas, la limpie y quedó como nueva!Súper recomendable!

This is a well-styled, nice looking suitcase. I was actually pleasantly surprised by how well the wheels turned, the interior pockets and construction, the fixtures, and over all feel when compared to a hard side Samsonite I'm evaluating, too. The Samsonite was $250 with tax. This about $160.I'm returning this one because (Mixi vs. Samsonite):1) warrantee difference (3 years vs. Limited Lifetime),2) communicating with manufacturer (can't call vs. can call),3) my confidence in resolving an issue (lower vs. higher),4) when I'm traveling I need the greatest confidence possible the luggage isn't going to fail (lesser vs. greater),5) wheels (not as strong looking vs look higher quality and more durable), and6) OVER ALL RISK (so much higher vs. so much lower).Over all I feel there's less risk the Samsonite item is going to fail or cause problems for me on my hard-earned vacation. Also, the listing says it's aluminum framed with a polycarbonate body, etc - but honestly, I don't have enough confidence in the brand the feel the "truth in advertising". If Samsonite says this - I believe them. Things that look good aren't necessarily high/er quality or built to last. You get dazzled but how cute it is then it falls apart quickly.Don't get me wrong, this MIXI case is nice looking for the price. I'd just rather pay more for the Samsonite and, based on my feelings about the Samsonite brand (having had good past experiences with it), feel reassured about its expected performance and the expectation for easy problem resolution (should any arise).
