The watch I purchased came with an amazing jewelers tool to push out the pins very carefully. I suggest you get a cheap pair of reading glasses that magnify, like ones from a dollar store. This will help you manipulate the pin, much easier under the magnification… I had very little trouble with taking two links out of my band.
