Fantastic laptop with a few caveats that might not be for everyone.It's lightweight, feels sturdy and unlike its larger sibling, the 16-inch model, does not have screen wobble.Has plenty of ports and you can get port hub to expand that to whatever needs you may have. I snagged one to demo that has HDMI, Ethernet and several USB-C and USB-A ports for example.The image quality on the screen is just breathtakingly amazing. The blacks are so black that except for the text on the screen saying it's shutting down or what have you, it looks to be off. The colors pop off the screen and moves and videos are just so amazing to watch. I can't say enough about how awesome the screen is. Now it is 2k and not 4k so there is that but if you want 4k, for a few hundred bucks more you can get the 16-inch model for that.Now this is not a gaming PC however, the specs are such that I was able to download and install Star Citizen and adding the game to gaming mode feature, and turning the graphics down to 1080, I am able to play it just fine with a few hiccups here and there, and if you know anything about Star Citizen, its that only the top of the line PC's can even play it so that's saying something. You may need to turn the graphics settings down a bit and add the game to the gaming mode (search "gaming" under settings, see image upload). Apps are snappy, startup and shutdown is super fast.Sound leaves something to be desired but I use headphone and bluetooth pods like echo pods to watch videos and game so that's not a real problem for me. I have not watched anything with dolby atmos yet so I don't know if that will overcome the fact that the speakers are on the bottom side and have an hollow sound.Laptop comes with some cool security features, besides the anti-virus trial they pre-install, there are some really neat privacy features with "LG Glance" that use the webcam and integrate with the "Windows Hello" feature. Like if you have more that one screen (using an LG View for instance) it can blur the screens you are not looking at, so people can't peek over your shoulder, or turn the screen off when you walk away as well as let you know when someone is behind you and looking at your screen. Might be great for medical professionals or anyone working in areas with sensitive or classified data.The touchpad is really neat, you won't have to worry about trying to clean around the edges since there aren't any. I was also worried that might be bumped with my wrist while typing and screw things up a lot but while it still happens as it happens on all laptop with touchpads, it actually seems to happen far less often that any other laptop that I've ever owned.All in all this is a top notch laptop and while not intended for gamers or content creators, this laptop seems to be more well tailored to professionals and anyone wanting nearly unmatched screen quality and security features that are just stunning. Highly recommended.

I was hoping this would work great but... I got this laptop specifically to use for the webcam and sound quality to record my youtube videos that share Jesus' love and truth in a fun way. But even though the product description clearly says it has high quality video quality and sound, that is not true of my laptop. This does not work to record and play videos on and the sound overall is also not good quality as it it choppy and fuzzy in the background when i try to use the webcam and play it back.I tested the video quality of the webcam and when I played it back, the image is jerky like it's a low framerate, but the settings I have the recording for the webcam are set on "high density" but the quality is terrible. It is jumpy and jerky in the picture, not a smooth video at all when I play back what I record on the LG laptop.The sound quality is even worse when I play back a movie I recorded of myself with this LG laptop's webcam. The sound has a fuzzy distorted sound in the background. My voice is choppy and hard to distinguish with the noise in the background.I don't know if the issue is primary the speakers or the sound recording quality itself, but my guess is that it is both. Either way the laptop is not as described and will not work for the purpose I ordered it for.The online product description says this about the sound on the product webpage "Dolby Atmos is a proprietary audio format that brings the same immersive, 360-degree sound you get in a movie theater to your LG gram. Hear and feel more in music and movies through Dolby Atmos and be moved by the immersive surround sound experience." Obviously, the sound on my laptop is defective in some way as the sound I have is not at all what they described. My other two personal laptops work well with sound and video recording and playback, and they are cheaper laptops.Again I could have got one that is not as effective as others, but this does not work for the purpose I got it to record my videos to teach Jesus' love and truth through videos about God's Word and salvation for all who trust in Jesus. So it's not useful to me.It's also SUPER lightweight so I am afraid it will break soon, so I don't like that but you might like it being so lightweight.It does boot up fast and seem to connect to my wifi okay so that's the positive side.

I had my last laptop, a Sony Vaio, for about 10 years but it was finally time to replace it. What I liked about the Vaio is how lightweight and compact it is along with being from a brand that I like and trust. When the box was delivered, I was surprised with how lightweight it is. I have had multiple different sizes of laptop over the years from a whopping 17.3" desktop replacement laptop to my Sony Vaio with a 13" screen.There are a lot of pros and only one or two cons so the LG gram Style 14” OLED Laptop is a clear winner! It has the smaller screen that I have come to enjoy but at the same time, it has top level components and specs. It comes with an OLED screen that is gorgeous, a new 13th Gen Intel i7 CPU, a 1 TB SSD and 32 GB of RAM.The LG gram Style 14” OLED Laptop will make short work of just about anything you through at it, with the exception of gaming. While it will play some of the older less resource draining games, I would not expect to get high framerates or no lagging. For personal or business use, this laptop is super-fast and powerful. I love the LG gram Style 14” OLED Laptop and I am very glad that I got one. I highly recommend!!
