Excellent product - has saved me hours on jobs, literally. Avoid the cheaper options like the plague. This is the best price option with guaranteed quality. Dewalt products are typically excellent quality- beware those trying to imitate them with the same brand colours. Stan Lee is NOT the man.

This is NOT a green beam laser.
I ordered this item as the description clearly stars “green beam” and as such was considerably more expensive than the red laser.When it arrived it is actually a red beam laser, when I spoke to customer services they offered to replace the item with a replacement but this was also a red beam.I am sure the item is fine but the description is a mid representation.

Very glad I chose this over the DW088
Very glad I chose this over the DW088, much better construction and feels like it could take a few knocks. The plumb line feature is worth the extra bit of money, saves me struggling to mark out on ceilings and instead doing so on the floor and letting the laser do the work.

Colour blindness?
The unit I received put out a distinctly red light, considering the very clear description of being a green laser level. Still a very nice unit, but in bright situations the green ones seem easier to work with. And this one aint green.

Impressive bit of kit
I wasn't expecting it to be quite so big, but it works well. I'm using it for drawing waterlines on clinker dinghies, which is normally a pain in the backside

It's a red laser and a cheaper model than that adcertised
It's a good dewalt product however it's not as capable as the green laser advertised / expected.
