In a world where confusion is celebrated, this book is wonderful
I ordered Jesus and My Gender for my young niece who is about to be brought up in a world full of chaos and division. Where differences are celebrated and unity is scorned, the perfection that is God is trampled. While no one of us is born perfect, God did create us all in His image, and for us to "feel" like what we are is not who we should be on a fundamental level, that is crushing souls. In a culture that celebrates being overweight (unhealthy) and telling people to accept that as beautiful (while you're killing yourself) but won't help people to see that the gender they were born is a gift... I obviously can't even find the right words to express the sorrow I feel. This book presents our God given identity as wonderful and to be valued. It helps young people to see that they don't need to feel shame or sadness being who they already are! The pictures are colorful and creative, the story is simple yet full of love, and this book should be in every library right next to the ones that are teaching our children that it's ok to change themselves. Both points of view should be represented, right? Love yourself! This book shows children that it's possible

Failed attempt
Teaching your child on the topic of gender is a must! I am in total agreement that the enemy will try and distort thinking in our children. I was hoping this book would be a resource to parents and an encouragement to children. However, this book does a terrible job of embracing and encouraging children to be who God has made them. Being a girl does not mean you have to like pretty dresses and twirl around with butterflies! Using scripture to back that up is sad. I have a rambunctious little 6 year daughter who is fully girl and found this book hard to relate to! She fully emulates the grace and beauty of her femininity AND can climb a tree, play in dirt, and hunt for bugs with the best of them! This resource should be inclusive of all types of boys and girls and help them find freedom in their God given uniqueness while also embracing their gender! Personality and interests should not be synonymous with gender!

My kids LOVE this book
This book is so good, especially for little children. For those who left bad reviews and called themselves "conservative Christian's", and still had something negative to say, then there's nothing Christian about you, because if you've picked up and read your Bible you would know that's exactly what this book teaches. This book is so well written, in a language that little kids can understand. Every single page is backed by the Bible, and is such a great way to explain to your littles the difference of what God has intended for the male and female. Do yourself a favor, and read this to your children, and thank the author, because this world definitely does NOT have your child's best interest. If you love your children, you will lead them in the way Gods word has instructed us to lead them and live by, and you won't be sitting there offended that females are being degraded, but will submit to Gods design of the two genders.

True telling for littles
This is a great book to teach children about the importance of identity as directed by Christ.

The perfect introduction to teach the truth about gender
Ive read this book so many times to my 4 and 7yr old. They enjoyed it EVERY time. They laugh and the enjoy every truth written on it. They could identify themselves with the differences between the girl and the boy. My oldest made questions and with the book were easy to answer them. Also, even if they dont have questions is a great start to have conversations about the topic, what God says about it and teach the truth. Is a good resource to have on hand.

Not the best option for a Conservative Christians looking for resources….
I wanted to like this book. I would call myself a conservative Christian but I would highly suggest looking elsewhere. I have four daughters and when I read this book to them (ages 9-15) they cringed at the gender stereotypes presented in the pages. I would HIGHLY suggest God Made Boys and Girls by Marty Machowski instead.

I love this book so much
I love this book so much. My son is 6 and I think it's so important to instill in them at a young age of the difference between the qualities of boys and girls. God made men and women for different things.. the woman is gentle and comforting while the man is strong and providing. Tho both men and women are equal in God's eyes, they are both called for different roles. My son loves this book to and how it says the boys are strong and fast.

Great Theologically Sound Book!
This book does an excellent job of providing a tool for parents who want to further instill in their children the truth of God’s original intent in Creation for gender. Man and Woman He created them. The artwork is very engaging the book is well written, and most of all the book is theologically sound. Great book! Can’t wait for new Children’s titles from this author.
