Good but installation person is worst

I chose this machine because it had fully auto hot water wash at a suitable price point. There is endless debate of top load vs front load. This uses more water than a front load machine but is quieter, clothes get damaged less, and you dont have to bend over. Its a great machine, I am happy to own it and use it, but here is the critique.Pros:Fully autoHot water washWhirlpool- known brand with decent serviceCost 17100/- purchased a whirlpool trolley with wheels for 1400/- from installer technician for rust protection amd easy water drainCons:No (separate) place to add softener/conditioner. Check out the photo. I am forced to open the lid at the end of first rinse cycle and add conditioner into the tub. This mars the fire and forget experience expected from a fully auto machine. The wife says: not adding softener/conditioner solves the problem though, and saves money in the process. Touché.Somewhere in the fine print it is probably mentioned that you require a 15 amp socket for the 15 amp plug of this machine. So keep the socket handy. The manual says the machine should not be installed in a bathroom/ near a source of moisture, amd extension cords are a no-no. Should have given a longer cord then.Spin cycle feels rather slow. (Less RPM) And I am upgrading from a semi auto machine. Clothes come out nearly as dry though.I feel a capacity of 6.5 is small for a family of 2 adults and 2 small kids. Go in for the larger variant, its not a con of the machine though.Uses a larger amount of water than a front load, but we already knew that.Machine cycle stops the moment you open the lid and restarts when you close it, though its not a con.Full load normal wash cycle is 1hr 30 mins plus. The timer pauses when water is being filled.The stainwash, anti bacterial other sophesticated programs run longer (2-3 hrs), and accept much less load (1.5-2 kg) to be effective. See photo.Express wash feature reduces cycle time by upto 40%, but at the cost of the second rinse cycle. Clothes MAY smell of detergent after completion of the cycle.Other issues:In my opinion, call the brand helpline, register the product and ask for their AMC and extended warranty, rather than prchasing it from online retailer. I have (only) a hunch that it is likely to give better results than the (much cheaper) online alternatives in the long run. I will not be able to prove anything though.

Machine is working very good. Satisfied with the product.

Product is good just becouse it's a brand but delivery boy forcefully ask for OTP without any open box inspection whether it is broken or not .. also no one is come for demo and start waranty of washing machine .. irresponsible behaviour ... I install on my own after Waiting 7 days .

Good performance

Hi All,If you are going to use hard water dont buy this. because it is having hard water wash not water smoothing technology.Installation person will suggest one softner worth 2000 from whrilpool.again they will explain all the accessories in such a way that you will be forced to bye everything like I did. Because no body wantes there product to last less.so apart from 15k I spent 5k more for accessories.stand - they recommend 4 wheel lock iron stand otherwise your drum will vibrate more and may damage soon. = 1525/-water softner for better wash and protecting the machine and save you from hard water damages = 2000/-Their own Drum cleaner for 9 months and you have to clean once in 45 days = 1400Detergent which can do the work of vanish, comfort and washing : 350 for 1 ltr (I have taken this just try how it is working)Total around 5 k extra.although the machine is good and looks like feature loaded but not recommended to use in Hard water areas like metro cities and all.

This washing machine is just an average performer. Delivery was swift, within one day at Delhi however the machine had a dent on one of its side. I thought of getting it replaced by seeking help from amazon customer care but I was told that this being the last piece either I will have to keep or accept a refund. Dent being small I kept the machine though. Having used it for 2 months, I have listed the pros and cons of this machine.Pros1. I bought it for just above Rs 13000, which is a good deal for 7 Kg segment2. It does its job of cleaning clothes well.3. Build quality is nice and doesnt make much noise.4. Fitments provided by company are adequate for you to start using the machine without spending any additional amount on any other accessories.Cons1. Lint filter is absolutely useless. In fact the company claims it to be unique but it doesn't do its basic work of removing lint from the fabric.2. ZPF is nothing and is a marketing gimmick. Machine has no additional motor. It just permits the water flow in if pressure is less, that's all3. Hard water wash option is also a marketing gimmick. The only difference in Hard water wash is, it lets in more amount of water. Else use chemical on your own.For me it has been value for money since I paid less amount. However, removing lint remains an important aspect for me which I feel I have been tricked into by the marketing jargons of company. Rest it does its job.
