Beautiful and solid
Well I had a lot of hesitation purchasing this Gazebo. I did a lot of research. And I’m glad I did. It’s beautiful and my wife loves it. The construction took some time. The first thing I did was to check to make sure everything was there.. I received a total of four large heavy boxes. I read there instructions first which is primarily pictures. On Saturday I began to assembled the Gazebo. I asked my son in law for help and he came over. It took me over 2 hours to assemble the wood pieces together. It does require at least 4 people to set the post upright and connect the side rails. Once that’s done you can continue with 2 people. The instructions were not clear about how the roof rails go. Make sure your screws holes are up. We had 1 down and it required some disassembly to correct it. Everything was marked perfectly. And it assembled without a problem. We did need to run to the hardware store because they did short use on 2 different types of screws, which wasn’t much of an issue because we needed to take a break. It took us basically 2 days to assemble. You need 2 ladders and 2 battery operated drills with Phillip bites and a small socket set with a ratchet ..The Gazebo sits on our patio in Florida overlooking a lake. It’s beautiful and it’s solid. Well worth the money!

Good product
This gazebo is sturdy and looks very nice. I installed it in November (3 months ago) and we’ve had some unusual weather for our area this time of the year - high winds and rain. The gazebo has held out nicely. It was much easier to assemble than I thought it would be. I did it myself and my partner only helped out briefly a couple times. It definitely would be better and faster if two guys did it. The only real difficulty was putting the top roof section on. I’m a 6’ 4” former water polo goalie (read: tall and long arms) and I struggled. I can imagine that part could cause a lot of grief for some folks. Nonetheless, recommend this product and in fact have already done so personally to a few people. Friends who come over love it. Gazebos are popular and sought after here in St Pete.

Pleased with my purchase
Did a lot of research before this purchase. Decided on this based on several things. Wood construction, double roof, mosquito net and sun curtain, price.During the unpacking I discovered that there were a few minor dings in the main posts and a couple of small dents in a few of the roofing panels. Not enough to send it back and most people probably wouldn't even notice it.The assembly overall went well. Just be patient. It is not hard, just time consuming. Only had two real issues. One of the holes for one of the roof panels did not line up properly which prevented me from seating a screw in all the way. The top roof cap was a bit of a beast to put on but I finally go the screws to catch. The only time I needed three people was when I stood up the four corner posts to put the frame together. Everything else can be handled by two people easily. The "rings" used to hang the mosquito net and sun curtain are very thin plastic. They all went on well and are working just fine. I just wonder how long they will last before having to replace them with something a little more robust. So far I am pleased with this purchase. Despite the few issues I think I got a good product for the money. My biggest critique is that the directions could have been a little clearer. It is pictures only with very little additional direction.

Nice Gazebo
Got this for the wife for mother's day and she loves it. The quality is really great and I had zero issues with it. I think the instructions could use some tweaking to make it easier, but overall it wasn't bad. I did 99% of it by myself and it took me about 15 hours. I ended up digging 3 foot holes using a fence post hole digger and filled them with concrete. Then I got some cement anchors from Home Depot to anchor it in the ground. We live in central Ohio and get some nasty wind storms throughout the year, so we will see if this will hold up. I think it will because it's pretty solid. It was well packaged and came with extra hardware as well. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase. She extremely happy, so it's a win all around.

Cheap
Gazebo came in 5 boxes. We didn’t realize some of the wood pieces were broken until we started building the gazebo. Had to buy wood glue to seal up the broken area. Hopefully, it would last for a while. Wanted to return but no point in returning cause of how many boxes it came in. Regret purchasing.

Not a difficult assembly
This review is for the MELLCOM 12' x 14' Hardtop Gazebo, Iron Double Roof Gazebo with Curtains and Netting. First off, this product comes in 4 boxes (A,B,C and D) weighing 127.5 lbs each. The first box you need is C which contains the instructions. The instructions are not great, just pictures, but if you look closely, they provide the information you need to get this assembly done. And it is not that difficult. Consider, I am 74 years old, 5'4" tall and weigh 157 lbs. and I assembled the whole thing by myself in a total time of about 14 hours. However, I assembled this gazebo on a 12' x 14' wood deck, 10 feet above ground. I could not walk around the outside which would have made the job a lot easier not to mention the numerous trips up and down the stairs. It was a challenge but I enjoyed every minute. I am telling you this so as to assure you there is no need to fear this project. Yes, 2 or 3 people could easily do it in 8 hours or less provided they have basic assembly skills, a little common sense, some ingenuity and easy accessibility to all 4 sides. I was impressed with the design and engineering of this gazebo as it is well made. It is an awesome looking and sturdy product which I truly recommend. My wife loves it and so do I. Now for the next project....

The instructions are awful
A good kit still waiting on two pieces that never showed up one bag of screws was mislabeled in the instructions and in the bag the size is nice by you for money is good. Haven’t found any leaks yet but it’s only been up for two weeks. Cs stinks parts come from china. Still nothing had to make my own! Ps the center of the roof leaks!
