The product works - it takes a few days, but my shelter cat that was either abused and also was declawed prior to me getting him - so he may be in pain - it seems to calm him down - and he quits biting.I have to break them in 3 pieces I think that releases the scent cuz after a couple of days he started becoming disinterested. Breaking them apart he started eating them again!The seller and I had a situation but his communication was great and all is well.This is for ONE pkg..not FOUR. Seller stated they would fix that.

Holy meow! This works wonders. I have 4 cats (crazy, ik) and just started giving this to them like 2 days ago. One of my cats has dementia and is 2410 years old, he gets rlly aggressive with the other cats, causing them to all fight all the time. He also meowed constantly. Even in such a short time, the order has been restored to my home!!! The cats are back to their usual aloof selves, mostly ignoring each other except to play. My cats eat it no problem. My youngest one actually wont stop stealing the bag, so now they're stored in the fridge. Thanks vetriscience, for the first good nights sleep I've gotten in 50 years. 💖

I have a cat with asthma that is exacerbated by stress. We do a Flovent inhaler (with AeroKat adapter) twice a day but sometimes that is not enough. We also have Feliway diffusers around the room where she spends most of her time. I was hoping to use these treats to provide additional calm. I give her two of these, twice a day, about 12 hours apart.I have bought these in the past and thought they worked, but I'm less convinced now, and I probably won't buy them again. For what it's worth, they only come in small bags with about 30 treats, so if you want to use them for more than a week or more than one cat, you have to buy a lot. I guess I understand, in that they start to get hard once open, but the bags are really too small. (The lysine treats from the same company have a similar feel to them and come in larger bags, though.) They also almost never actually contain 30 treats (I keep getting odd numbers left over, giving two at a time...). The bags do reseal well.These have a strong smell. It's difficult to describe. My cat will totally eat them, though, and that is the main thing. You may want to start with only one bag to see if your cat likes them; the cat I am giving these to will eat pretty much anything, including fuzz off the carpet.However, these don't seem to be helping her to calm down. It's possible that the benefit is really hard to define (how do you measure degrees of cat calmness?). But after three and a half weeks on these, I've actually had to put this cat back on every-other-day prednisolone (in addition to the inhaler) to control her asthma symptoms.Anyway, these are worth a try, especially if you have a food-motivated cat, but they may not do anything.

Product arrived promptly. This is the first time we’ve used these calming chews, so had no previous experience with the product, but the chews themselves seem a little on the ‘dry’ side and are therefore a bit hard. We have 4 cats and only two seem to like them. I will say they DO work inasmuch as the cats that will eat them calm them down somewhat. My issue here is not with the seller but with the marginal quality of the product itself.

These are perfect for chilling a kitty out a bit. It's not medication that will alter your kitty, but it does take a nervous edge off. My cat has OCD and tends to have some issues sometimes. This helps keep him just a little calmer, but it isn't a replacement for anti-anxiety pills from a vet for a pet with behavioral needs. Don't expect a 180 on behavior, just a reduction of stress-responses. For what I need it's perfect and he still has his same personality. I give him a double dose when someone is coming over to really help. He loves them like treats so it's not a struggle to get him to eat them. I will be repeating my purchases for a long while, it really does help reduce his anxious behaviors.

My cat has some chronic constipation issues (which has caused her to defecate outside the litter box frequently) and she tends to over groom herself when she gets anxious or upset about something. We changed her diet, added in Miralax, tried various other natural products and while change helped, her issues continued. Then I tried adding in Composure. Her litter box habits have improved dramatically and the one time that she started to over groom she soon stopped and the area healed quickly. I will definitely be ordering more!

We bought 4 bag’s originally and the cats loved them and they worked as advertised so we reordered. Received 8 bags on the new order and the cats will not touch them. The original order was dark in color and had a pleasant aroma. The second order of 8 bags are light in color with no real odor. I do not have the bags because we need to seal them in containers. I DONT like leaving a negative review but I am very concerned that these may be harmful to our animals. If the company will replace the 8 bags we have problems with AND they are like the originals order I will retract the review and chalk it up to a bad batch and move on. The picture shows you the distinct difference.

My poor elderly, arthritic cat loves these and they really, really calm him down! I was being driven nuts by his whining and demanding and generally needy behavior (like a little old man), but when I give him a couple of these, he gets into bed and dozes off happily. Whew! Since he has almost no teeth, I cut them up into little pieces he can easily swallow. Highly recommended!
