Q: If these don't work out is it a free return?

Amazon states it is returnable within 30 days. However, I don't want to return them because they work great!!

Q: What is the throat depth on these?

Throat depth is 3" for the 6" size clamp, 2" for the 4" size clamp and 1.5" for the 3" size clamp.
